  1.

I know what you mean. There were too many kids in my family and Dad didn't make huge money. I remember sand boxes and brothers and the barn and farm fields. Good but lean times. There's a country song, Bill Anderson I think, talking about not knowing you were poor but there was always a family in town that had lots to remind you. Christmas was always a big deal.

Yeah ... Growing up poor was the norm ...

But I do miss spending my summers up in Vermont on my grandparents farm ...

I miss playing all the summer time "Hide & Seek" games in the tree farm, with the whole family and neighbors ... Big Farm Family cookouts were awesome!!! ... When you get older, you truly miss and appreciate those moments ...

  2. For the days that I'm on Patrol, and not out with the Task Force ...

    My newly issued 2015 Ford Explorer Police Interceptor (Slick-Top) - AWD - 365hp - http://www.ford.com/fordpoliceinterceptor/models/#/utility/

It's got that new car smell ... .. with only 400 miles on it. All hide-away LED lights. Arrow Stick in the rear. Has a hard case storage system in the rear. It has only a Single cage for arrestees, no longer a whole backseat dedicated to them.

If you look at the interior pic (sorry, poor quality sun-glare) ... you'll see two firearms. My Ruger Mini-14 patrol rifle (.223) and my Ruger 10/22 Stainless/Synthetic (.22LR) for dispatching animals.

  4. One thing I've learned over the years buy em cheap and us them hard..the elements down here eat them up quickly...the little Weber knock of i do all my grilling on cost me 40$ at wally World and i love the shit out of it...Especially since i seen Johnny reference the snake method on the coals!

Up north here, it's not as bad. I have a Vermont Castings that I've had for 12 years now, with no issues. My sides are starting to rust out, along with heat stress degradation. I run 5 20# gas bombs a year on average, so my girl is always in use.

I do some of my best cooking every year at Dover De NASCAR race, on a $40 wally world special ... ???

  5. Holy Crap ... This shit is hysterical ... I stumbled upon a new YouTube genre at work tonight ...

I know Colt Ford has let the charge, but he's going to be needing a whole lot more help ... LOL

Some of it is pretty good, others are not as pleasant ...

I do like the "Chllin in the Backwoods" ... (can't place sampled song at this second)

  6. That's an oem Denali bezel btw. So there are door switches in that grain. I have a set for a crew cab, but only have ext cab  Very nice bezel though , I have one myself

No I know it's from a Denali... I was just saying if you did dash then I would have to do the door switches also. I was going to look up if they were still available but haven't had time.

Yeah ... It's a Denali Bezel ... The Black Cherrywood was up to the 2007 body-style change ...

    Thanks for the interest ...

    *** SOLD ***

  7. Any thought on what you would like to get for that $$$ ? I would like to get my dirty fingers on that part !

Haven't thought that far yet ... Nothing over the top ...

I say if you want it, PM me ... I'll take people in order as I receive their PM.

Once I post up a Price, I'll PM you. You'll have the first go at buying it. If you do not want it, It will go to the second person in line.

If not, I could post on Ebay ... but then we all have to pay stupid Fees ...

The price I set will include Shipping and Insurance ...

  8. Yeah ... I pushed for the GMC Denali because of the 6.2L, where the wife wanted the Chevy Tahoe LTZ because she likes the front end better. Either way, she got the color she wanted, and I got the bigger motor that I wanted. Helps out in towing and big family roundtrips, where power and torque matters ...

We rented a Chevy Suburban LTZ for our Dover DE NASCAR trip this year. Great vehicle, but severely underpowered for a vehicle that size ... Only had the 5.3L in it.
