  1. The reason I let her go was I just didn't drive her and she was just getting all rusty sitting outside on the dirt. Sadly, she no longer had a garage to park in. I put only about a thousand miles a year on her, for the last few years.

Also, now that I have a Monster, the backseat is too small for him & his car seat. And it doesn't matter what he rides in, he kicks the back of the seat in front of him.

Plus we are thinking of going the camper route. So I figure a nice big camper, and a nice big GMC Denali HD 3/4 ton ...

It was just time to let someone else enjoy her, before she became problematic from just sitting.

You only go around once ... I'll miss her, but I won't regret the decision I made ...

Hey Stitches, so I was wondering what was the main reason why you decided to sell your Silverado SS?

    From Page 1 ...

  2. Good deal Jason ...

    I see that it's 2WD ... That helps in reaching the 20 mpg ...

I'm like Jeff ... I sold the Mistress in order to buy a new Denali Crew Cab ... I'm probably going 2500 HD ... But I am impressed with the 1500 series towing capacity. Truly isn't that bad at all ...

But I'm waiting one to two more years, in order to get a nice "Leftover" with some extra $$$ off ...

  3. Thank God you've finally let the cat out of the bag ... ... I've been sworn to secrecy for the past month ...

All I'm going to say .... YOU SUCK ... You took my game plan, and played it ... LOL ..

    Congrats once again ...

Can't wait to go Wheel'n, Shoot'n, Drink'n and all the other crap at LVD ...

  4. Sad to see another original owner SS go.

What made you decide it was time? I'll be detailing mine here soon and parking it for winter storage in the garage, covered up of course. Sometimes I wonder if I'm doing more harm then good to my SS for not putting more then 600 miles a year on it. But then when I get into the drivers seat and turn the key and pull that thing out of the garage, I have a smile bigger then my butt.

I was just discussing with a friend yesterday if I should sell mine but I don't think I could.

  6. Ok ... Here you all go ... This for Satruday, October 4th, 2014. This is the same Motel as last six (6) years ...

    The Villager Motel
    953 Simonds Rd. - Rt. 7
    Williamstown, Ma 01267
    (Sam & Reena)

    (413) 458-4046

Mention - SilveradoSS.com or Shuan William for Group Rate, when Booking.

I have a few rooms blocked, and more can be added. Only $79.00 per night + Tax. This is for either a Queen or Two Double beds room. (Works out to be around $85.00 - $90.00))

They do have a couple PET rooms for an additional charge (I think $10.00)

It is a small Mom and Pop motel, clean, no major frills ... But since I know the owners, I got a great rate. This is prime Foliage season, and the local Howard Johnson has rooms for $169.00 a night ... So this is a STEAL!!!!!

Call if you need me ... PM me if you need my cell# (I will ignore your call if it comes up restricted) ...

    For All Newcomers -
You all know what I do for work ... along with this is the same town for which I live and work. Please remember that Sammy, his wife Reena and I are good buddies. He is giving us a great deal on the Motel. Just a friendly reminder that this isn't a free-for-all beer fest ... if you know what I mean. Thanks again ...

Past Attendies are staying there again ... ... couldn't be that bad.

  7. Hey All ... I hope the weather will be on our side for the day!!!!:thumbs: Hope to see everyone there.

You can use the MapQuest for Directions. Use New Lebanon, NY or Lebanon Springs, NY. Or Click on this link for Lebanon Valley Dragway and follow their directions.

Directions from Rt. 90 To Meeting Spot and Lebanon Valley Dragway.

From either East or West, take exit B3 off of Rt. 90. It will be the first exit in NY for all of you coming from Massachusetts. From the east turn Right towards the Truck Stop. From the West, turn Left towards the truck stop. This will be RT. 22 North. Stay on 22 north for about 4 miles, you will come to an intersection with a traffic light. Go Straight. Continue on RT. 22 North for another 4 miles. Map Link

You will enter the town of New Lebanon, NY. This road will come to a "T" style intersection. At the intersection of Rt. 20 and R. 22. (There is a church on the left, and there are a ton signs and Blinkig Lights.)

Turn Right (east) to go to the Meeting Spot. Jimmy D's resturant. Rt. 22 and 20, it is only about 200 yards away.
Turn Left (west) to go to the Lebanon Valley Dragway. Rt. 20 west. 5 miles away.

The Dragway is only about 5 miles west from the intersection of RT. 20 and 22. It is located on Rt.20.

Directions From the North and South - Rt. 87 (New York state)

For all of you coming from the south Take Rt. 87 north until you see a sign for RT. 90 East. it will say BOSTON on it - Exit 21A. This stretch of road is know as the "Berkshire Spur". It will take you right to Exit B3. Then just follow above. From the North, same thing ... Just look for the signs ... Exit 5, in Albany ... (you actually will cross Rt. 20 on the way to Rt. 90, you can get off and head east.)

    MassPike'ers - Rt. 90 West from Boston ....

Rt. 91 intersects 90 at exit 4 which is Springfield (no real area to meet at), exit 3 is Westfield, and there is a Friendly's there. Or about 10 miles west of exit 3 is the Blandford Rest Stop. It is a huge Truck Stop/McDonalds/Dunkin Donuts rest area.(It is at the top of a huge hill) That may be the best place for all of you traveling the MassPike to meet at. It is the last Rest Area on the MassPike. Or meet at the Ludlow Rest Stop, just east of exit 7 on the Pike.

    Time:
Exit 4 to NY exit B3 (Austerlitz, Rt. 22) is about 45 minutes ... Plus about another 5-10 to meet in Lebanon .... So figure on 40 mins (Generous side of Time) from Blandford to the Meeting Spot....

MassPiker'ers - Service Areas - MassPike Service areas

    Meeting Spot

The Meeting Spot will be at Jimmy D's Resturant in New Lebanon, Ny. (Green Resturant)
    Time: 08:30 - 09:15 Hrs.
Roll Out - 09:15 Hrs to the Track.
Arrive at Track - 9:30 Hrs.

Weather: WNYT - Albany, NY and WTEN - Albany NY Or Intellicast - Lebanon Springs or Radar Loop!!!

[For some odd reason Jimmy D's kicks us out. Just cross the street to the Hitching Post. If they are busy, continue about 100 yards up the street to a commercial mall type space on left. I will set up there. Look for my Black SS, I'll have it parked Streetside]

Be Safe ...:thumbs: ... As always ...Call my Cell if you need anything ...

Look for this sign (in the background / 2006 pic)
