  1. Nice house. Looks like you're out by the cornfields too. tumbleweed.gif

Great pics of the lil' man.

You and Christy haven't changed a bit since Zippy's way back when thumb.gif

I can't believe it's been soooo long since the Zippy gtg! Time flies!!!!

  2. I spotted three Black SSS's Saturday in Pigeon Forge at the rod run. One had replica 22's I think? Anyone on here?

Wasn't me (obviously) but I LOVE the pigeon Forge area. Went there 1.5 years ago for my honeymoon. we stayed in a cabin pretty close to the pigeon forge "yall come back" sign. Good times!

  3. no it dont have a loud howling noise but my brakes need to be changed again!!!!! so once i do that i should be able to hear any noise it might make and how loud is this howling noise???

I had one go out on my 2500HD. I'm not sure how expensive or hard of a repair it was because I have an extended warranty. Mine made kind of a howling noise... kinda vibrated the steering wheel too.

  4. Over the last couple weeks, mywipers would sometimes not turn off.

Well today when i used them, they wont turn off. They're on the constant speed, not constant fast, but constant slow. I had to take the fuse out to stop it.

I figure its the turn signal control. Is it a pain to change? How much are they? Thanks for any help.

Mine did this a while back. There is a module under the hood/plastic cover that you have to replace. I wanna say the part was under a 100 bucks but I don't remember. What year truck to you have? If I remember right it's a diff part for 03 than 04. I might have an 04 laying around. Hope that helps. Chad

  5. Though I haven't been on much lately, I didn't feel it was right to post this under the welcome section. I've been a member for a while now... I haven't been on much lately and I'm thinking that should change. Since I've last been on my wife and I got married, we built a house, and just 10 weeks ago had the cutest son ever. Now that things are calming down a bit, I might actually have some time to meet all the new members that I haven't had the chance to meet yet.

  6. try sfx performance 1-817-473-3500. they have a web site and seem to have a lot of replacement center caps.

Well, if yours are discontinued like mine... you are SOL. I have a set of Helo Hawk 20's sitting in the garage because I cant find 2 center caps... If you have any luck, let me know. I'm looking for some as well. 20". Thanks.

  7. just seeing how everyone (namely the KC guys) have their own build topics, I figured I would let you all know whats up my sleeve come spring time.

    PM replied as well LUKE??

This is just a post to comment on what a wonderful job Chris does. While he was in the midwest he put starts on probably 6 of my work trucks and personal vehicles. I've never had an issue. He does amazing work. He is also great with any other type of install. You east coast guys need to take advantage of him being out your way. And by cheap... he does mean cheap. most starters costs 400-600 installed. He will do a better job and charge WAY less. Thank God our new 2010 equinox came with a starter... otherwise I would have to beg him to come back. I wouldn't let anyone else work on a vehicle of mine after seeing his work. Just my .02.

Though I don't get on here as often as I'd like, some may still remember me- although I feel like a newbie all over again... I want to say I'm sorry for your loss. Having found out about 6 months ago my wife and I were pregnant... I can't even begin to imagine the heartache you both must be going through. Try to keep as positive as possible and I know I speak for the entire site when I say please let us know if there is anything we can do to help.

  10. Yeah mine is just a red SS too! LOL. i really wanna see the stance on your truck. Im thinking about lowering but i dont know how low i wanna go in the rear. I hope to figure it out when i see some lowered SS's is person.

Hey, I have a drop kit that I'll prolly never get put on my truck :) All new shocks too! Let me know. I'll be there for sure.

  11. Rich- you can count me in. I love Iowa GTG's! I'll have to see Christy's schedule. We should be able to head up for a weekend though. The last time I was in Iowa, someone had me roofing their house :) haha. Just kidding Chris- I even have a blast doing that!

Rich... Is there time for a drop kit install? I'm tired of being "lifted" as you call it!
