    Just like the last topic I started with the Jeep Compass... just looking for input from anyone who's had one or driven one. I test drove the compass tonight- the interior was horrible. It really turned me off to the whole car. I found an 05 Equinox LT AWD for the right price- I'm just wanting to know the pros and cons. Thanks guys! Chad

     

    I already know it's not going to get the same mileage as the compass!!!

    Well, congrats first of all!

     

    My brother and I started a lawncare and landscaping business about 6 years ago or so. It's really grown into something great... but it was a LOT of work, and a LOT of money spent on equipment. So I'd definitely NOT recommend that!

     

    One thing I've always wanted to do was start up a laundry mat! It's cash money, you don't have to collect. Yes there are repairs and maintenance- but one thing I hate about the lawn care gig is that NO ONE wants to ever pay their bills- so were constantly waiting to get paid. The next business I start up is going to be something where the money is upfront. Think of something that people cant live without- that way, when the market and economy gets as bad as it is now... it won't affect your profitability.

    i have a hard enough time trying to get mine to find the oven at home let alone the oil in the truck. :dunno:

     

    :lol: HAHA. Same here. Mine thinks you can use the microwave for everything :) I CAN'T WAIT TO GET MARRIED IN JULY :) In all seriousness- I shouldn't talk, I can't cook either!

    I met your fiance when you where doing her hid's,You mean she doesn't change your oil for you??!?I was just kidding about the oil changes,My wife might know where it goes in but I doubt she knows where it comes out at. :jester:

    less than a week and counting, but for all of us, i have a question, what the heck to we do with the ladies while we are all doing MAN things? we should occupy them somehow, any ideas? my yard needs mowed and raked! :)

    Oil changes,Women love to do OIL CHANGES!!! I will bring my ramps and creeper,but you must supply your own mobil 1. :D

     

     

    You haven't met my fiance yet! It's a good thing she's stayin home :) haha

    Well I officially got Saturday and Sunday off for this weekend. Ill hopefully head up Friday afternoon to Boone at a friends place. What would everyone like me to bring? It would have to be something I can pick up at a HyVee or Wal Mart because I wont want to make something and have to keep it overnight.....any suggestions?

     

    Maybe some chips or something?

    She got over it, and she thought you guys where pretty cool.We will probably head to Iowa early sat. morning,with plans to be here around noonish.

     

    How's your headliner? Christy was running her fingers along the zebra stripes Chris put it in yesterday and her ring kinda scratched it. I'm sure it won't be the first time that ring will cause me tears :) haha.

    As some of you may know, my sister is 13 yrs old approximatley two years ago she was diagnosed with scoliosis wich is a medical problem with the spine. Here spine is shaped like an "S", more or less. She goes in for surgery tomorrow for approximatley 7 hours. They will be inserting a rod in the top of her spine about 6 inches long. The healing process is going to be tough and very painfull so im asking you guys to please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

    Yeah,I'll be there fo sho, fo shoooo.As long as chris doesn't start talking about strip clubs again :jester:

    Do I need a goofy led hat to fit in? If so I'll have to go shopping.

     

    DUDE, they have them at Caseys next door! Chris bought ANOTHER one yesterday. Now he has 2 :)

     

    The awkward silence when the strip club comment came out was crazy!

     

    I'm trying HARD to get christy to skip her concert and come- but she works friday night and saturday morning- so It's pretty much a given she's not making it no matter what. Oh well, I guess she'll have to come the next time.

    yup grillin 5ish or so. bring your beer for sure and tater salad sounds good. either way.

     

    I think PDB and and CCC will be there lat morning time so it doesnt matter what time you come. look forward to seein you again, shit its been since December, how fast time flies!!!

     

    As the time gets closer, I'll get a better count on how much I need. So far it looks like burgers, brats, and hot dogs are what everyone wants. I'll grab some pork chops too since they aren't expensive and they taste awesome.

    burgers work for me as well. i will also have the wife hit Sams for some things. buns and what not. pork chops work, but i perfer burgers and brats. if they have pineapple brats, i am ALL ABOUT them!!!

     

    shoot CCC and PDB you guys should get together and caravan if you are comin Friday night.

     

    I'll check on those brats- I'll only get 2 as your prolly the only one who's gonna be eating em'. HAHA. I'll caravan over- am I gonna be able to keep up though? My truck is lifted ya know.

    i can get you rooms whenever. you want friday? i can do that. i told you price. let me know. shoot you can stay at my place friday then room on saturday....

     

    doesn't matter to me- the price was reasonable! :) I think I can handle a couple nights. It might be easier just leaving Friday if some guys are coming earlier. That way I'm not leaving the house at 5:00 AM.

    Just as the title says- my brother has his truck for sale. He wanted me to post this on here for him. I KNOW I KNOW- I need some pics. I'll have some up tomorrow. He bought it brand new. It runs great. It's got the 4.8 liter. Darker Blue in color. Hasn't driven it much as he has 2 children now and needed something with more room. Great buy for anyone looking.     matt will be there early saturday, cory as well early. what about you chad? and jared?

     

    I can be there whenever. If i can get the room lined up I might even leave friday night. Who knows.

    get a trailblazer! We bought a used 2002 Trailblazer LTZ a couple months ago & we love it!!! It has a 4.2 I6 gets around 22mpg, i just towed a car on a trailer with it last weekend, can turn 4wd on & off & my payment is right at $200, plus it fits me, my wife, & 3 kids in there comfortably.

     

    Yeah- I'm actually looking at a TBSS right now :cheers:
