  1. Your upgrading to a D1? Avic D1? If so why not just go D3 or a newer model. How much you looking to spend?
  2. let the local police handle it, just file a report to be on the safe side. What if the dude actually lived near you. If you would of ran up on me the same way you did him theres a good chance a few rounds would be in your chest. Luckily that didn't happen to you but stop acting stupid and let the police handle it. If something happens at another point in time chances are you are justified in your actions if you react properly.
  3. some nice pics but who has the blue ss that can't seem to park between the lines??? Chase is your truck ready for another firebird run?
  4. I wish I knew AR's cause I have been wanting one but just don't know enough about them to drop a good chunk of $$$. The Saiga's I have seen are nasty and I want one but like mentioned the prices have went through the roof. JerrysSS, We live in AZ so a class 3 is allowed if your licensed, not sure what the other requirements are needed but hell in AZ you can get just about anything
  5. Sorry to come off as an ass about this topic but like i said starting a new thread post sigs for $20 is just BS to me. I understand what goes into them as I have a comm degree with graphics as a minor so I know the programs. To make it like it takes forever to do layers in PS then transfer them over to image ready and set it up takes a long time then I guess some more work is needed in practicing. Like I said, you may do great work but charging on this site I think is BS. Next time don't direct your Graphics degree towards me since I actually know what is involved in making animated sigs. If people want to pay then great, but I think it should be a donation more or less where you do a favor and they say thanks. At least thats my view towards sigs. Can you provide more sigs anyhow, maybe you do some stuff that is mind blowing, can't really say since all i see is thecouple on here
  6. I have never seen anyone charge for sig services or headers/cam install yet. You want to pay $20 for a sig then so be it but with a 150 posts and posting a services thread for $$$ is BS. I have made a 100sigs on here for people and never once asked for anything in return. Now if the thread said Wanting to help out and make sigs for people, then you decided to throw some $$$ his way thats fine, but to advertise sigs for $20 is nuts. They take a whole 20min to do if you know what your doing. I would also like to see sigs done since he is charging, as refs.
  7. really $20 for a sig..................
  8. $450 shipped, has Burned West NAV disk, can just download the East and burn it as well, ipod cable, gps ant, and all wire harnesses are present on back of unit. I will also leave the mount attached to it so it will fit flush in your dash and you don't have to mess with that
  9. I dont have pics handy but are you looking for one? I ran a Pioneer AVic D3 for the past 3yrs and just pulled it out again. Decided to go back to single din. It is for sale if you are looking.
  10. your about to become an island is whats about to happen
  11. Looks like I will be upgrading all the comps and amping the door speakers shortly. I think I have a blown rear door speaker anyhow, either that or the RCA on the axxess harness is shot which is a good possibility since this harness has been nothing but trouble. Anyhow, will the door chimes still work when amping the comps? If not is there a way to keep them? \ Now its just onto buying new stuff
  12. Upgrading the suspension was my first thought but my concern is more of the frame. My Kona weighs 25lbs as it sits right now. I know with the XC set-up they shaved a lot of weight with the frame itself. I don't want to upgrade suspension if I have to worry more about the frame coming apart on me during a run. The rear shock is a Fox Float, just air. No other adjustments can be made. Front forks are Bomber Z4 flylight. Unless I can find used parts at a cheap price that I can upgrade with I don't feel like dropping $500-1000 on a bike that is fairly old. You will be the first i contact if I decide to buy something else. You have any used stuff laying around I could use?
  13. cwest, what kind of dirt bike is it? I can prob walk you right through pulling the carb and cleaning it in a matter of minutes
  14. I'm 5'9 and looking for a something with around 6" of travel hopefully. I been talking to someone who wants to possibly trade a GT force3 for my Kona which seems it might fit the bill a little better. I am still learning a lot about bikes so my options are open. Money is just a little tight right now so buying new is most likely out of the question.
  15. Seems like all my buddies sold off their dirt bikes so I haven't been out in a long time and last time I did go out I was winded quickly and didn't feel comfortable hitting the technical stuff at a higher rate of speed. To help with my reaction time and hopefully lose some lbs I bought a mountain bike. Its an older one but its been good to me so far. I am already looking to upgrade to something a little more oriented to a faster pace bike as mine is more XC only and I don't trust my fat ass hitting anything big going down the trail. So does anyone else ride? Here is my Kona Mokomoko, Theres a chance I might trade it off for another bike more oriented for All mountain terrain.
  16. the dude that ran chase had a low 10sec lightning, I think hit 10.2 on the last run I saw before we left. They were older guys and actually nice people who stopped over at chase's truck after the run. One thing for sure, Chase caught that lightning and was about to pull right by him and then his truck didn't shift into 3rd for some reason. That lightning was no joke though but only thing i can say is if chase didn't miss third I'm pretty sure he would of hit a low 10sec run fairly easily.
  17. I guess you are right, wouldn't be to bad but still wanted to know if it could be done the way I mentioned. Now when taking away from the bose amp, what harness is then needed for the HU? I have a POS axxess harness and I get major engine whine from it, and its entirely due to the RCA's of the HU connecting to it then running to the bose. How do I retain chimes if i yank the axxess out? I guess I could still keep it in too since it would be connected to the BOSE right?
  18. I have a bunch of extra amps and figured might as well start the switch and get rid of the bose amp and add one of mine in. When amping all the door speakers do you need to run all new wiring or can you get away with tapping into the wires that were running off the bose amp? It seems logical but just not sure. I was always use to just running all new wire but this would make it a lot easier if its logical.
  19. good to see you made it back, how long did it take you? Wish more people would of came out too but what can ya do.
  20. theres a harness you can buy that plugs right in under near the parking brake down near the firewall.
  21. chase should be inbound hopefully within the next half hour. See you guys in a little bit
  22. Chase my place might be open if you need somewhere to stay, i have to make sure the roommates rents aren't coming in and staying here because i know that weekend they will be in but they haven't got a hotel yet. I will keep ya posted.
  23. 5th works for me, can prob swing the 4th to spectate.
