  1. yeah the warranty def saved my ass but get this the warranty is up June 14th so just in time. I asked about getting another warranty but that one was priced at like $2500 so that is a pass. What pisses me off though is they asked why i didn't get the GMPP up to 100k and I told them I was only offered the 30k extra one. They told me it would of cost $300 more dollars and because I didn't ask about it is why it was never brought up.

I didn't ask the dealer yet but how do they warranty the new rear that is going in? Anyone know?

  2. Since the site was down I could not update, I took the truck in for service since I still have an extended GMPP warranty. They thought it was the seal as well and said they would have the truck back to me in 3hrs give or take on monday after I dropped it off in the AM. Got a call around 11am and was told it wasn't a seal. The whole rear axle tube had cracked. Warranty deemed it a stress crack and warranty is covering in full. I have a $100 deductible but its better than a few grand. Hopefully I should get it back Monday or Tuesday.

  3. I guess this is the right spot to post but today i decided to throw my 22's back on the SS and in the process I noticed a puddle right at the driver side rear wheel. I thought it was brake fluid but now I am not sure. I can't get a clear read on the fluid because of where its leaking. There are no leaks coming from the lines or anything but I do however see build up between the disc area. My brake fluid is fine and as much as I have been seeing I think it may be a wheel seal or something of the sort since the brake level hasn't went down. How can I be sure if its brake fluid or rear diff? It kind of smells like brake fluid but doesn't look like it at all. If it is a seal what am I looking at to replace it? The sooner the better!

  4. when you say its not street legal, do you mean in CA? Nothing really seems to stick out that would pertain to other states. I was always following your threads because you bought the truck and just raced it, pretty bad ass if you ask me. Good luck with your sale!

  5. Bruiser, I wouldn't leave it in the truck, I was thinking about a mount either under the dash where the electronic brake controller mounts or even the center console. Basically somewhere it can be mounted while I am driving. It would def come with me in and out of the vehicle.

CHASE: I'm prob about 3.5hrs from Havasu so its not to far. I never been there and always wanted to go so let me know when its on. Even with the new CCW law, there are a lot of gray areas. I am still getting my permit so I can carry pretty much anywhere. its funny, on the case for my XD it says its not legal in CA, I believe its because of the 13rd clip. Pretty stupid if you ask me.

  6. of course I got a new holster, the one that comes with it is junk, I may mount it in the truck so I can have quick access to it if needed, but you can't rely on it for everyday use on yourself. For a OWB, I went with an Uncle Mikes holster, I wanted a serpa but I am left handed and couldn't find one readily available without having to wait forever for it to get shipped here. I am also ordering the crossbreed supertuck for carrying everyday IWB.

  7. Well with all the crime lately going on I decided it was time to make a few adjustments at home. My truck was broken into again but they didn't get anything, two of good friends each had their home broken into and cleaned out while they were at work, and a girl I know had someone knocking at her door for 5min and when she didn't answer they tried to kick the door down. A neighbor of hers came out and chased of the suspect.

I don't want to hear any political views as well in this thread about the AZ law going into place for immigration, I have my opinion and you have yours. So here is what changes I did recently.

This is Zoe, cute and loyal yet bites any new person who comes into the house without being welcomed in. My buddy's dad learned that the hard way when he didn't listen to me when I told him to ring the doorbell and wait for me to come to the door.

Put about 300 rounds through her so far and I must say for it being a .45 the kick is really light, I was expecting a lot worse but the main problem is finding the damn 45 auto ammo. I might buy a XD that uses the 40 S&W rounds since there is an abundance of that ammo around.

So how is everyone doing? I haven't really been on here since all the bashing was going on and I am still trying to navigate around this new web set-up which I am not to found of.

  8. You will lose your mind most likely during the searching and bidding process. I did at least. Stay far away from short sales unless you have a long time to sit back and wait it out. With bank owned homes don't expect them to fix anything as part of the offer, 90% of the time they won't. There are a ton of places out and try to narrow down what you want and stick with it. I knew what I wanted and started going off the path a little and almost got a place I most likely would be pissed about now that I look back on it. IMO avoid HOA's. There friggin Nazi's, at least around here they are. As for your interest rate, as I recall your not locked into anything until you put an offer in and it get accepted, then its up to your broker to bid your offer out and try and get you the lowest rate. Good luck and let us know how gray your hair gets!!!

Oh and home warranty is the way to go. Old Republic is the company I use, not sure if they are nationwide or not but they have fixed several things already and I def got my money's worth. Now I am figuring out how to get a new fridge and washer out of this deal.

  9. well the drone with this dynomax ultraflow x pipe muffler is starting to piss me off. does anyone have any suggestions for what i should do at this point? im thinking of switching to 2 dynomax ultra flow mufflers (or any other for that matter) and putting an x pipe on the exhaust in front of them a bit. my old z71s exhaust was so much easier than this!! the problem is that i want everything PERFECT on my SS and im not happy with the exhaust right now. the exhaust guy is cashing in at least LOL!!

Is it dumped right off the muffler or do you have it running out the back of the truck with the tailpipes turned down?
