Vince you was just a pinch faster then me, i think with diffent tires and cam, and a little more magic from zippy i'd have got ya...but really in the end all that matters is the same tried and true fact..........RED is the fastest color!!!! hehe

Zippy i'm with ImpoSSter on that one, if had reasons like that i'd be busy too thanks for taking your own time to check out my logs and helping me. I guess probaly won't be able to do much back , but maybe i can offer so free help to someone else and keep the cycle going! i was not able to figure out the truck, after the tune i iced the truck ran against frank, pulled a record 1.70 60 ft , truck was rocking i backed out at the end to keep from breaking out on frank. the next 3 passes i could not hardly break 12.9??? or a 1.76 60 foot? wha all did you change? also you made changes on the regular trans tune, and i ran in town and haul, i would have logged them but as life would have it from all the screwing around with hp tuners,,,,,my battery was dead! if i did some more logging could you check it out..or any good guesses. i did not get to ice the blower on the latter three runs, but i have never had times fall off like that.

Dave they are still looking at the middle of next week so i guess we are still on hold, no cam no install!! what do i need to keep the valves in, do you use top dead center or should i get a leakdown tested and compress the cylinders?? most i have talked with says it's not to hard to do the rear valve springs on the SS. i will get both tools on the loan a tool from autozone anyway. let me know what else you'll need, and be reading up in how to tune wide speed density, and wideband. i am working on it but wow there is alot of info out there!

hey look....ALL are invited, i can get two truck inside w/ no problem. i have enough tools to do all those installs, i did my own radix, and now soon to be a cam. i have hp tuners pro, with a wide band so we can do some tuning, i'll need some help from dave though i am new to tuning, but i can get the model year license. i looking at not this but next weekend, i am waiting on comp to get teh cam done so thats my hold up. but all is welcome we can do alot in a day i am sure, and i have plenty of room to crash if you wanna stay somewhere or there are hotels about 10 miles. bring who ya want and what ya want, like Dave said the more the merrier! give a call if ya need to 419-203-4443.

i am getting ready to install a new cam in my SS. first question is what type of spring tool will i need to get out the valve springs? i've heard the back ones are tough? also should i replace a the timing cover crank seal? lastly how strong is the factory cam chain..should it be replaced, it only has 22,000 miles? thanks

Lingenfelder said it would be fine. also are there any benefits to changing over to titanimum"how ever you spell that" ??? hey thunder if you wanna come up come on up and do yours, my shop is big enough for two truck. bowtie is bringing his hptuners with and it has a license for all 03' SS... mine is the pro so we can do speed density maps and it should be here this week. if no luck let me know and i may come down and help you!!! hey dave! lingenfelder said to use factory retainers, that they reuse the factory chain..if worried just run a new oem chain, and if i unstall the bottom two bolts into the timing cover i will not need the alignment tool. i am getting the cam and springs tonight. i ordered hptuners pro. so i should have it this week i hope. if anyone has any ideas tips or trick please let me know. by the way i am also pinnig the crank while in there.. does anyone know if i have to remove the radiator to fit inthe cam???

well i just bought the pro version so i excited a heck to get it and start learning. with the pro i can do real time tuning, remote loggin' with out the computer. if i understand it will work directly with my lm-1 wideband. this will be awesome with my new gt2-3 i'm about to add......

i have a arata on my 2002 954 best time all motor is 9.8 sec i have a 50 shot for it but not had a chance to set if up on the track, it's got a custom map, holeshot delay, adj. dogbone, ft straps, hidden ft turn signals, looks just like your bike...aswome man!!!

i am wanting to buy hp tuners for my g/f cobalt ss/sc and for my silverado ss/radix. here is the package i think i need to buy. http://www.hptuners.com/products/vcmsuite.php is this the programming software i want? 1. how much are credits to do more vehicals? 2. what else do i need to connect my lm-1 wideband set up to it? 3. does this do real time "RTT" 4 does it work with 1,2,3 bar maps? 5. difference between pro and standard? i think it's only the licences right? 6. can i data log with out the computer?

i built my own and i have no numbers to prove it works, but i notice alot more bugs and things in the box and air filter so it has to be getting air fairly well off the front. mine draws from the opening under the license plate.
