Oh, let the flaming begin, lol... I actually will give some respect to the truck. If you're going to invest that much money into a truck, why not start out with a solid platform such as the SS.

It's been awhile since an update. Things have been going smoothly but we ran into a few problems. The cabinets didn't fit right so we had to expand one wall that was all finished. Also, the wrong tile was ordered. Other than that we are making some progress. Garage: the 4 eight foot fixtures should be nice for detailing. It's damn bright. Mechanical room: Under ground heat manifold Hang on the wall boiler which feeds the under ground heat and also serves as a water heater Air handler for the air conditioning Entry way from the garage (washer/dryer) Dining room Cabinets being installed, still needs the top crown molding Here you can see where the wall needed to be expanded. There also will be a counter top, on top of the wall. Living room Master bedroom 2nd bath 2nd bedroom

Diesels are a frickin' blast to drive. At work we have an 05 Duramax with the Edge tuner and it always bring a smile to my face when I step on it.

I'll agree with you on the PC being the safest machine. However, the Flex might require more research and respect but seriously, you would have to take the most aggresive pad and polish to do some serious damage. I have actually seen threads on autopia.org where guys have burned through the clearcoat with a PC, so it is possible.

No i'm not backwards on this one. You would have to be a complete idiot to "wreck" your paint with the flex. The Flex was actually the first polisher I have used, period. I am not the smartest person, but I did some simple research and did not have a single problem. I guess I can't say the same for the rest.

When your UDM dies, don't waste your money on a PC, get yourself the Flex. IMO, it's worth the money, safer than a rotary, and does the job quicker/better than the PC.

I never found a solution for installing my spare. Whenever I go on a long trip I just throw the spare tire in the bed.
