  8. I know of a few if he wants to travel to Washington State. Mine has 16k miles on it
  9. Start looking at what the easiest way is to turn your 3/4 into a 4/6. Just saying.........
  10. Djm up front and airshocks for the back.
  11. That's what always gets me. I'd do a 2/4 and it always left me wanting more.
  12. Well from my experience, the flip kit is the best riding kit I've had in the rear of any of my trucks. I really liked my SS when I had it at 2/4. I put the Belltech leafs in the back and didn't have a single vibration at all. Driveline angles were like stock. Everything else has always had a slight vibration at take off and needs shims to fix it. Hangers are a bitch to install, I would do leafs before shackle/hanger if I were u. Sorry for going a little off from the kits you already wanted.
  13. Are you dead set on the 285/45/20? If you are thinking of going 3/5, you should c-notch it. If you c-notch it, might as well go atleast 4/6. But if you are set on the 285/45/20, then a 2/4 is what you should do. Every truck I've owned I start with a 2/4 and 3 have ended up at 4/6 or lower. Your clone looked really good and had a perfect stance. I'm on my mobile phone so I can't see the links that you posted but what components are in the 2 kits you posted?
  14. My 2005 has 16k miles, PM for more info

    New Best Et!

Nice times there man. I am really thinking about going back and trying to get a 13.6 or 13.7 out of mine as I run my 22s in the front also. I have heard of another SSS truck out of the RGV doing a 13.7 with bolt ons only and still on the stock torque converter also. My little brother's VortecMax is setup almost identical to mine minus the underdrive pulley and he ran a 13.86. I am really stumped as to why you arent cutting 1.8-1.9 60' with your converter? My drag radials are 26" and help with gearing, I wonder if that's the reason behind my 2.0 60's?
  16. Ok thanks a ton Tony. Email has been sent........You have any pics of the beds you've notched? Are you cutting through the bed or just the crossmembers on the underside?
  17. Are they the ca2000u? Have you ever notched a bed on the SSS or VortecMax with a 14 bolt rear diff? I can PM you if we have gone off topic but this might be helpful for Ruben525 in the future.
  18. Is there an upper control arm available for the torsion bar trucks?
  19. Oh ok that's what I used also. I was thinking you knew of a 5" a arm. That truck sounds like its setup like mine except I went down on the torsions also. Are the uppers the same as the ones used on trucks with coil springs or are they for torsion bar equipped trucks? I need some upper control arms.
  20. Can you get me a part number for 5 inch a arms for a torsion bar equipped truck please?
  21. That truck is a 6/10 drop and its a SSS clone. I would be that low if I didnt have to cut my bed to clear the 14 bolt rear diff.
  22. Heres an 06 Vortec Max with a 4/6 on SS 22x10s with a 285/35/22
