Here are some pics I took this past weekend. It was fun hanging out and meeting Ray and Brad. Kind of sucked that we had to leave early but atleast we hungout for a few hours. Thanks for those that showed up. We could of had more trucks but they were not SSS so they kind of felt out of place. This car was sweet......damn near had the whole park staring as he drove by then parked.

We just got another local SS. Red 03 to be exact. He was already gonna attend with his joe gibbs tahoe and RCSB but now he is also bringing a 03 SSS.

Either those arms or the spindles will work......I have them both on my truck.

I should be available to go(for sure if we'd do it that sunday) I will have to miss racewars in order to make it though cause I work every other saturday and the 19th I am busy already.....give me a call Mike and I can get more trucks too.......

You already got the fans stock Mike so you are covered there already. From how your truck runs compared to mine, 13s will be had no problem. I ran 14.53 on my 22s in Yakima and 13.86 on slicks in Spokane. The 14.53 would have been a 14.3 in Spokane I believe. Always have been faster in Spokane. If I can pull that off you should be a tenth or two ahead of me on my 22s. I am not instigating a race or trying to egg you on at all Mike, but being that Spokane shut the track down, we are using my little bro's TBSS as a gauge. He ran a consistent 13.7 at the track and since he is AWD he should be pretty accurate on the street. When you get done with your truck give us a call if your interested. I wouldn't dare try your truck on the street with my 2wd.........

Yup, I did a lot of research on it and the drop leafs where the way to go for zero vibration. The guy I sold them to has zero vibration also.

I bet mid 14s can be had with a good tune. Get those 60' down to 2.0 and you are there.

Depending on the day, I might be able to take a handful of trucks from around here. I currently have my truck in a few different pieces and the bed is off. I try and squeeze some time to work on it after work and between house/lawn work, but still have to c-notch it to even think of making it. Post up when you get set with a date and location. We are ~3 hours away from Seattle.

You either got springs or torsions bud The 2wd SS came with torsions. I got my Belltech spindle from Summit a few years back for ~$250 which lowered the truck 2". If you want more go with the DJM control arms which are 3" and all you need to "redo" is the way the shock mounts on the control arm. I had pictures of the way I did it lemme try and find some.

Mine weighed in at 95lbs mounted on the 305/40/22, I didnt think it was too bad.

Actually we have made more than 5 bucks with this raptor. Barker duals, PCIII, air intake, 15T, 11:1 JE piston, hotcams stage 2 cam and my little bro weighs about 140. 2 bikes ahead of a big bore KTM 450 (540 I believe) 4-5 bikes ahead of the quickest YFZ450 around here and it has 13:1, cams, port and polish, Nmotion pipe, intake, jets, yada yada yada I will let you keep your five bucks after you see the results................

If you liked the idea of being FI, Raptor 700 should have been your choice. You'll see if we ever get together to go riding...........LOL Nice to see you are back in a quad man.........let us know when you are going riding. I am strapped at work for the next couple weeks but my little bro is out there in his raptor 700 almost every weekend. My neighbor has a modded LTR450 that is at the ML powersports dealer getting finished up. Power Commander, cold air, exhaust, headers, and I believe he geared down to a 13 tooth.

I was hesitant about going with the repro 22s cause I didnt think they would make that much of a difference. The day I put them on I tried a 20/22 combo just to compare.

In that pic I had the 2" Belltech spindles and 3" Belltech leafs. I cant remember if I had it aligned yet but if not then it also had the torsions dropped about 1". The tires are Nitto NT420 305/40/22. They are a nice tire for the couple hundreds miles I had them but they are coming off already. Thanks for the kind words......................
