What dealer did you go through to get the gauges? http://www.pfyc.com/store/merchant.mv?Scre...gory_Code=GNINT
-
Gauges were $400.00 and the dual pillar mount was $53.00
-
Installed these today. Install is a snap, one wire to hook up per gauge. Anyone that has them will agree...they are cool as H#ll. Now I have to learn all that they do.

I'm the new guy on here...so here's my truck(s)

Love the rcsb version. Both very nice Welcome -
The dual one will allow you to look at two engine parameters simultaneaously. So using that model you could look at engine temp and transmission temp at the same time, or any other mixture of things. The single you would have to scroll through them if you were interested in looking at more than one thing. Even with my dual, I scroll through things I'm looking at all the time. The dual is just more convenient to use if you're interested in looking at some of those things. Thanks, as soon as I find a dual a-pillar gauge pod I will be getting the dual set-up. What other gauge will you be running? I ordered the aeroforce dual scan set-up. If that is the only gauge you'll be running then you only need a single pod. The dual scan gauge is only one gauge with 2 displays. I don't think a wideband gauge is necessary unless you have some fairly serious mods, and even then would not recommend the cheap ones that just tap into your stock O2 sensors. The better ones use an actual wb sensor and usually cost quite a bit more - $250+. You can get two gauges that hook together so you can monitor 4 things at a time.

but you could always check the fuse under the hood. It is the one that says info. 15 amp fuse I believe.

Like I said , I said I know nothing about gauges. So what is the difference betweem the single and dual Intercepter? I guess if I got one of those I would only need one gauge then?
-
Where is the best place to buy a dual pod, and can I get one to match the color or do I need to paint it? I was thinking of putting a water temp gauge and didn't know what else I should put in. I don't know anything about gauges so any ideas and suggestion would be great. Thanks guys, Jeff~

I believe it is right under the light switch/dial. Just play w/ it it should solve your problem.

Which PCM Tuning would you guys recommend?
JF-03-SS replied to 05Chevbiess's topic in Bolt On Performance
depends on where you live. If you are anywheres near someone that tunes in hear i.e. Zippy go w/ your truck and have it done. If not there are a few mail order guys you can get a tune from. -
gotcha I just see that everywhere, corrected times. Didn't understand the reason behind it.
-
Corrected time? I don't get it. You either ran 14.5 or 13.9. Trere is a big difference there.
-
Older Metallica, there is no other like it
-
That's a bummer.
-
I went from a superchip tune to a custom tune a few weeks ago and can say yes there is a difference. Shift points alone make a big difference. I can feel it alot more on the top end. There is alot more room for change w/ a custom tune. I also gained 2 tenths in the 1/4 mile. Go for it

Truck is nice but that Ferrari is a thing of beauty
-
Nice time in the 1/4. So what mods do you have right now?
-
That is awesome Congrats
-

-
