  1. I know it might be a far stretch but I was wondering if anyone had the part number for a E-85 gas tank found on any of the flex fuel SUV's and trucks or atleast know of a place where I could get the part number. Thanks, Bob
  2. As a school project I am working on designing a fuel tank to hold E-85 but I am having trouble finding a material that will actually hold the fuel. I have been talking to others and it seems that the E-85 will eat throuhg many different materials such as aluminum, steel, and plastic. Does any know what material is used in the fuel tank of GM's flexfuel tahoes and pickup trucks? Thanks, Bob
  3. Nice pictures. Wakeboarding is lots of fun. I am new to the sport but I spend all weeking looking forward to spending some time on the water. Bob
  4. Could you not get the truck in white as well. I have seen a few around in white but maybe it was a repaint. Bob

  6. It said earnhart on the back tailgate under the SS silverado but the front plate said jr's ss so I just assumed it was jr. but you guys are right since the intimidator is a D.E. Sr. edition. Either way you do not see too many Silverado SS trucks around this area and I was just wondering if it was a member on this site or not. Bob
  7. I saw an Silverado SS at the University of Waterloo parking lot. It was Dale Earhnart Jr. Edition. I was just wondering if it was anyone on this site. Bob

  12. NorCalSS what style of Falken tire do you have? Do you have any pictures, they look cool in your sig. Bob
  13. I am looking at getting a new set of rims and tires for the truck. I want to keep the overall OD (31.8) the same so I don't have to work about the speedo and things like that. What tires sizes are you guys using? I am looking at 22" rims. Bob
  14. skis are a lot of fun we are looking at getting one but with the number of people that we got to the beach with we ended up buying an 06 seadoo sport boat. I have driven many seadoo jet skis. I found the new 4-stroke to be very nice and quite (this is what i have on the boat) however for a ski they are hard to work on. Hard to change the oil and if you roll the machine it is very easy to get water into the engine which basically requires a trip to the dealer. The older 2-stroke could handle much more abuse. I have never driven a GP but i have heard good things about them. The new GP1300 is suppose to be very nice and easyer to look after oppose to the seadoo 4-stroke. You also have to remember that the 4-stroke models are much heaveir then the older ones so off the line a older seadoo xp will problably beat you but the 4-stroke will reach a faster top speed. When we were looking at our boat we talked to many people and everyone told us different things and in the end you have to go for what you feel will fit you. just my 2 cents. Bob
  15. They sure are lots of fun. My friend has a modified 97 XP. It is lots of fun to ride.
  16. I think the rims look pretty sharp. I wonder how black rims would look on a Blue SS Bob
  17. I had a set of BF Goodrich AT on my truck for the winter with a stock silverado 1500 rims with no center caps and the truck looked pretty funny with them on but I got alot better traction then with the stock 20's Bob
  18. Do all trucks have a on/off button for traction control? If so where is it? Bob
