Maybe something like a "trucks showcase of the month" could be tried. Something like 10-12 trucks showcased like in a calendar format. It seems like the current TOTM has come down to include only a small group of members who are familiar with each other in some way. Not that that is a bad thing, but maybe many members, (myself included), already know their truck will never even be nominated, so why even involve yourself with it. I could care less about winning some sort of prize, but having ones truck showcased and ackowledged on the site in some way would be nice. Maybe this way more interest would be generated. From all those selected monthly, then maybe have Truck or Trucks of the Year voted on.

My stock cd player stopped working, so I am planning for an aftermarket stereo. I just want something which will give the best sound through the Bose stock sysytem. I would like for it to be cd and mp3 capabale, and be in the $350-450 price range. Any suggestions on specific brands and models? Thanks for any help/

Sorry to see that.......I can empathize with your situation. I had an 81 corvette with 1,400 miles on it stolen and stripped 30 years ago. Lousy feeling.

I have those on mine and have been very pleased with them. They are significantly better than the stock Goodyears which came on my truck. I put the white lettering outside because I like the retro look.

My RWD gives me all the fun and excitement I want. I am not concerned if someone's AWD is a few tenths of a second or so quicker. First driving cars in the late 60s, there is nothing like a good rear tire burnout for me. I don't need AWD where I live, in fact when it came out with RWD, I was sold! But, to each his own, they are fun and unique trucks either way.

Might could just get the flapper door and an electric actuator to make it functional to your stock hood. Maybe some places like Year One or something would have the flapper door.

So, are clone/non SS trucks eligible to be totm now???
