  1. Good to hear and good call on waiting. I had a mildly built 4L65E that I ran with a P-1SC for about 5k miles without a hicup. Installed the turbo kit and the tranny started slipping like crazy within 500 miles. I decided to try the TBSS cover I've got in the garage for now. I see those Camaro covers pop up all the time on eBay so I'll probably grab one soon. Thanks again for the pictures of the brackets. That will make it much easier. Rick
  2. You got an even better deal on yours. That D-1SC had less than 30 miles on it. I actually offered to buy it back if you didn't take it. :-) Thanks Bro. How's the twin turbo kit going? Did you pick up a manual boost controller? 2nd that. I've installed, swapped or sold a dozen Procharger kits over the years and have only used the stock piping and FMIC a couple times. Like you said, it's not only cheaper and better looking, it's also more efficient. Just swapping out the stock flapper bypass valve for a Vortech or Tial BPV/BOV is usually good for a full lb. of boost. By the way, everytime I see your install I'm blown away at how clean it looks. I need to stop goofing off... Rick
  3. Polished Procharger D-1SC head unit with 18k miles on it. It was off a Ford F-150 but I've re-clocked it to work on our trucks. No oil in the volute, no excessive play in the bearings and no metal particals in the oil when I re-clocked it. The front seal had a little discoloration from oxidation so I put a new seal in it after the picture was taken. $1900 shipped thanks for looking, Rick
  4. Very cool and complete kit Synergy Twin Turbo kit for sale in the classifieds on PTNet. 848 RWHP and 821 torque through a 4L80E. This was Rick's Shop Truck's kit. I've seen this kit in person. Very hard core, well engineered and priced accordingly. http://performancetrucks.net/forums/showthread.php?t=448193 Rick
  5. Sold to local buyer pending payment. Rick
  6. All PM's replied. Thanks, Rick
  7. Up for sale is a rebuilt, 0 miles, 2005 4WD or AWD 4L65E out of a 2005 Sierra Denali. This transmission has had 52k original miles on it before it was completely rebuilt a few weeks ago. It has new HD clutches/band/seals/filter, and it already had a Transgo HD2 shift kit, Corvette 2nd gear servo/billet 4th gear servo, 29 element sprag and "the Beast" sun gear shell. Also includes the stock, OEM 13" Torque converter. To make a long story short, I ran a Procharger w/10lbs for about 5000 miles and 4th gear started to slip. I never Dyno'd the truck (AWD) but Rick @ Synergy guessed it was around 475 RWHP. Had a local tranny shop rebiuld it with the above listed parts and it worked like a charm for 15k miles. Shifted great, not too firm (medium setting on the shift kit and reduced Torqure Management in the PCM) and worked flawlessly. Pulled the Procharger and added twin turbos @ 10lbs and tranny started slipping after about 3000 miles. Again, never dyno'd the twin kit but it had an estimated 550 RWHP but a ton more bottom end torque than the Procharger (it will instantly hit 10lbs at 2500 RPM). I had him put in new HD clutches/band/seals and it felt good as new till about another 5000 miles. 4th gear started slipping again and I decided it was time for a 4L80E. I had him install the 4L80E a couple weeks ago and also had him freshen up the 4L65E. I was planning on keeping it for a future project but changed my mind. This is a great HD replacement tranny for any 4WD or AWD but as you can see, like any 4L60E or 4L65E, it has it's limits. The shop that built it will honor the 6month/6k mile warranty but doesn't include shipping or remove/install labor (unless your local). $700 + shipping. Buyer to handle shipping but I can palletize it and have it ready for pickup at a loading dock in 94510, CA if needed. Local pickup is obviously prefered and will include an ice cold beer upon completion of loading. Thanks for looking, Rick
  8. The stock injectors are fine for this cam. I actually just picked up a used XR265HR-15 (the high lift version) to try with my turbos. I'm still running a stock LQ9 cam and I had picked up a 2002 Z06 cam I was going to try. The XR265 is suppose to be a upgrade for a Z06 cam and with the 115 lsa, I though it should make a good turbo cam. Rick
  9. If your truck is a 2003 SS, it already has 317's on it. Look for the stamping on teh bottomright corner of the head. If you werer running a 5.3 ro 5.7l, then they would be great for droppong the compression on a big boost application. Rick
  10. Tentatively sold to Dirty 30. Thanks, Rick
  11. Tentively sold to sick03ssbad70velle Thanks, Rick
  12. Brand new set of Hawk High Performance Street compound Rear Brake Pads. Never been installed. I went to a set of Baer 14" rotors and these pads don't fit my application. They have been sitting in my garage about 2 years so somebody gets a deal. Retail $95. $50 shipped. Buyer responsible for correct application. If they do not fit, you must acquit...
