  1. went down to Southern Calif yesterday and picked up my front brake kit I would have posted the pictures up last night but I was too tired, I left my house at 3:30 am and didn't get home until 11:30 that night and put 1000 miles on my Jeep. here are the pictures, these things are HUGE, the rotors are one inch smaller than my Jeeps wheels
  2. with my old set up 6.0 with Radix 1/4 mile time of 12.8 @ 104 mph truck weight 6300 lbs At 55mph I would get 20 mpg, at 60mph I would get 17 at 75mph I would get 15 Get the picture? In town my mileage sucks, I average between 11 & 12 mpg, because of my driving habits, new set up 438 twin turbos still needs a lot of of tuning work 60 mph I would get 14 to 15 mpg Mark
  3. Truckin Magazine update: no front page but there will be a 5 page featured article on it. Mark
  4. with my 6.0 and Radix I got my 6100lbs truck to 12.8 in the 1/4. A friend from PT.net has a 5.3 with the Radix and a 75 shot that just made it into the 11's Mark
  5. my two favorite pictures.
  6. Had a photo shoot with Truckin Magazine yesterday. The shoot was 4 hours long. I was going to post this up in the picture video or general section but I thought some people might not have seen this thread and I didn't want to have to upload a bunch of pictures that I already have in this thread. Thanks to the Big Guy for helping me with this.
  7. I can't spin any tires with 800 ft lbs of torque I think the 6300 pound truck helps out with that. Mark
  8. chase, I have heard that if you lock your front end it will be hard to drive straight down the track. It was explained to me much better but I am tired from working all night, I have check into it some and it didn't look promising. what front tire do you spin?Right Front? Mark
  9. they are all missing that one bolt on the J-tube, it's a good thing they didn't use that bolt hole. Anybody that did the 90mm J tube modification would have had to take the charge off instead of just taking the J tube off. Mark
  10. it may not be too late. here is the link to the thread over on denalitrucks.com http://www.denalitrucks.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=10243
  11. If the loaded diameter is reduced by the tire squatting it will rotate at a different speed, causing the diff to constantly slip it's plates to make up the difference. Using more air in the front helps allot. I run 40 psi front and usually 32 psi rear to keep the loaded diameters as close to even as possible. The easiest way to measure is from the top lip of the rim to the ground, minus 1/2 of the rim diameter measured at the lip. That will be the loaded diameter. there was a guy on Denalitrucks.com just the other day that had the same problem, changed his fluid and tire PSI and the noise went away. Might sound wired but just give it a try, you have nothing to lose. Mark
  12. sorry to high jack your thread but can you explain exactly what happened? these transfer cases are pretty strong but I worry about mine breaking. I am pushing over 800 ft lbs of torque through mine and it is holding up. I have a spare just in case mine goes Boom. Mark
  13. by the way, next time you slap me in the back of the Head you will be talking to Goliath
  14. Dave, the cut off is just for track use, when you relocate your battery to any other location than factory you have to have an electrical cut off with a sign stating where it is and which way to cut all power to the truck, the reasoning behind this is if you wreck the safety crew can run up to your vehicle and cut ALL power so there is no chance of a fire. Mark
  15. Received a package from UPS today, my electrical cut off sign it is a magnet and will go on the tail gate right above the cut off Mark
  16. I corrected my reply, wasn't really paying attention
  17. the TVS2300 will grenade a stock engine. I would go with the PM122H. that will give you room to grow. Mark
  18. with a mild break in tune tune it Dyno'd at 730 RWHP and 805 ft lbs of torque @ 12 psi
  19. Tranny is on the way back, will be here on Wed. Mark
  20. all I can speak for is the NVG-149 here is a good article http://www.wtfba.org/temp/NVG-149.pdf
  21. Don't cut our AWD short, I am making 805 FT lbs of torque and still can't break traction. She just gets up and goes. Mark
  22. That was with a NVG-149 welded together to make it a permanent two wheel drive unit, I swap it out when ever I put it on the dyno. Mark
