  1. Well, i just wanted to take a minute to thank Jnash for the excellent service, and product. I bought a throttle body from him and it was in better shape than he said and went the extra step to make sure i got it proptly. Great seller and would buy anything from him in the future. :chevy:

After the fight of my life last week between dealing with horrible venders, wrong parts, parts not fitting like described, i wound up putting a new "engine cover" on my motor wich i will post later. This week started out on the wrong foot on sunday for me. I first did some work on my truck, and relaized the tac module that i was going to use was the same part number as the one in the truck, (stupid e bay liars). then i wound up getting the wrong harness from speartech (my own stupid fault for just telling them the year and not that it was a truck, and not opening the package until i needed to plug it in.) Then monday morning i went to work got to work to realize i forgot my keys so i had to drive all the way back to my house and pick them up. Worst of all, monday i get home and the wind blew the stupid gutter down off the over hang of my garage onto the hood of my truck scratching up the hood in the mean time.:banghead: . Well, when i finally finished destroing the gutter and swearing, i went in my house and my luck changed. I had the throttle body from Justin. excellent. So anyways, i want to thank him for giving the excellent service but also flipping my bad week arround. Now speartech is sending me the harness overnight so i should have that tommorow and should be rocking and rolling assuming chevy comes through with the new tac module. But hey, thats what i get for using the computer too much. thanks again and thanks for reading this if you wasted your time. :nopity: anyways, just needed to vent a little i guess. I'll post pics the end of the week after the trucks running of my new "engine cover"

  2. in my experience, i would stick with either a denso sesnsor (who dosn't offer the sensors in the after market yet) or go straight back to the dealer and buy a new set. you pay for quality with o2's. and alot of the aftermarkets are not up to snuff.

  3. There are ice chest like products that you put in the bed of the truck, and run the intercooler fluid through the ice in them to cool things down more than a heat exchanger can.  Look at products made for the Lightning.

Here are some air conditioning type and a peilter junction type

that's pretty sweet. thanks for the links Dcairns, i thought that was all gonna be custom fab items. this looks hopeful.

  4. that looks like a real sweet setup. i don't know how mechancally inclined you are but for that price tag, you could have a much sicker motor if you built it yourself. Also fuel injection is something to consider for reliability and power for that matter. either way, love to hear what you decide to do. good luck man.
