    Dash Cover

Yep, battery is all good... Thanks. I'm in the middle of installing the deck/sat antenna/and bluetooth right now. Anyone have any good ideas on where to mount the bluetooth antenna. They show in the instructions mounting it on the steering wheel column- YEAH RIGHT! I'm thinking about mounting it into the dash (drilling a hole) but there is no real good way.

Oh boy, now I feel stupid... I forgot I ever even read that. Thanks a bunch!

I'm sure some have done this. Just wondering how difficult it is to remove the top of the dash and also reinstall? Do you have to remove the whole dash to get the top portion of it out? The reason I ask is I'm trying to get ideas about where to mount the GPS antenna for my new deck. I might be able to put the antenna directly in front of the deck (under the dash) if it will go far enough forward.
  4. If you like seafood, you should come to the Great Northwest! LOL
  5. yep, cod4 and ncaa08- both good choices. the new grand theft auto should be coming out next month too.
  6. Awesome Kelley! Thanks for the info. So the GPS has no problem going through plastic then? Does it reduce the signal strength at all?
  7. It was my understanding that to get live traffic/weather you need either the TERK or the GXM30 antenna? It sounds like that will also give XM radio as well (with a subscription of course). Chev SS, will yours connect to XM or get live traffic with the deck being standalone only? Just curious...
  8. Hi guys, I looking at getting this deck (Kenwood DNX7100) but I have a lot of questions and thought someone here might have some knowledge about it. 1) From what I understand, the Bluetooth adapter does not work unless you use the GXM30 (xm antenna by garmin). That is if you are going to be using XM service. Is this true? 2) Do you need bluetooth to be able to hear the voiceprompts of the nav through your stereo? 3) If I am not using the bluetooth adapter, all I need is the TERK XM kenwood adapter to receive live traffic and XM radio? 4) Similar question- With the Bluetooth adapter, if I used the GXM30- that would be all I would need to receive live traffic and XM radio? 5) The GXM30 antenna is kind of large 3-4" and is silver. Mounting might be an issue if I decide to go that route. Does anyone have any good ideas of mounting locations for this unit? Does it have to be in plain clear-view sight of the sky? Any help would be appreciated. I'm getting confused reading about all the different add-ons for this unit.
  9. That's a crazy story! Glad everything turned out okay though.
  10. Those will be probably be what I buy next for my 22's. The Toyo's I have squeal wayyy to easy and they don't grip nearly as good as the Nitto 420's I have on my 20's. If I could have, I would have got the Nitto's but they don't make em in my size 265/35/22. The Nitto's are a great all around tire for dry/rain/snow - AWESOME! I was lookin to buy Hankook's when I got the 22's but they said 3-4 week wait and I needed them right away.
  11. IMHO, both suck! Go Rockies!!!
  12. Probably more like $30-40 mill. Nonetheless, shitty.
  13. They are very nice Helmets. That's a smokin deal! This is the one I have. http://www.amazon.com/SHOEI-RF-1000-RF1000...S/dp/B000JCR1BA
  14. Well I bit the bullet and decided to order a pair of Doug's e-cutouts. The more I thought about it, it just made more sense to go that direction.
  15. My condolences... Keep your head up though. Before you know it, everything will be back to normal!
  16. I would take my size 12 and return the favor.
  17. A few people come to mind when I read that.
  18. From what I gathered on the magnaflow website, all of their mufflers were straight through design? Can someone else verify this?
  19. Hi guys, I'm going to install manual cutouts here in the next week but have a few questions. Should I install the cutouts before or after the resonators? Or, should I eliminate the resonators? Also, I bought an X-pipe, but will it be necessary to install it since I have resonators already? If I do install the X-pipe where in line should I install it in regards to the resonators and cutouts? Before the resonators? After the resonators? Thanks,
  20. I ordered these hangers (#25042) off of stylin for my truck. I guess there are three different style hangers available for 99-06 1500 series trucks. Just wanted to make sure this is the right one. Does anyone have any pictures of there aftermarket hangers installed? http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g274/FoxySS/019.jpg http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g274/FoxySS/018.jpg http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g274/FoxySS/017.jpg Here's a DJM's link showing the difference between the hangers: http://www.djmsuspension.com/Articles/HowsitHangin.htm
  21. I think you meant to say shackle.
  22. I have Nitto 420's on for my winter tires and they worked pretty damn good even in like 10" of snow. Those are on my stockers. Toyo Proxes on my 22's. I can definitely tell you that the Nitto's are awesomer in the rain also. In fact all around I would say they are better, but I couldn't find the Nitto's in the size I needed for the 22's.
