  1. Well, went back to the tire store yesterday and checked on the specs on the rims. Looks like they are offset of +20 and backspace of 5.5. That sounds pretty close to what most are running right?
  2. Yes, Justin is very helpful and knowledgeable when it comes to anything involving tuning. He helped me get rid of some KR last summer and was willing to work/guide me with EFIlive since I really don't know much about what I'm doing with this software. I'm going to give a donation to have him help me w/ getting some more balls out of this puppy! I just got my 8lb pulley. Still waiting on a couple other things though. Have you already started started the moving process Justin?
  3. Okay, not quite sure about the backspacing, but I'm pretty sure the offset is +20 on a 22X9. Can anybody tell me if this sounds right?
  4. Good Point Chase. I completely forgot that the backspacing might be part of the problem.
  5. You still have 2" drop right? The problem seemed like it was a combination of too wide and too tall of a sidewall. 305/40/22 is only .25" smaller sidewall compared to the 285/45.
  6. Brobradh, you don't have any rub at all?
  7. Hey guys, I ordered my wheels (Black Rhino Slam) and tires (Nitto 420's) and had Discount test fit one of the fronts. They fit fine until the steering wheel is turned. It's only turned like 15 degrees and the inside of the tire starts to run into the wheel well. Now I need to find a new tire but I don't want to sacrifice too much more ride quality with going much smaller on the sidewall. Any suggestions? I was thinking about 265/40/22. The shitty thing is Nitto doesn't make 420's in that size.
  8. I can't tell you the actual install price of the converter because my transmission needed to be rebuilt at the same time. I believe the whole bill came out to like $1800 for both though.
  9. Not exactly sure, but it just gave way.
  10. Yeah, my TBTC blew up within the first six months in mine. The clutch blew up and sent metal through my whole transmission. After a transmission rebuild and a new Yank converter, couldn't be happier.
  11. Yeah, I hear ya- S-10's resale is garbage. I almost sold my S-10 a while back but didn't, and now the transmission needs to be rebuilt here very soon. Not only that, but it has a list of other things that need to be fixed on it too. It sucks when the cost of fixing starts nearing what the vehicle is actually worth. In your case, I would just repair the brakes and bearings and see if that fixes most of the problem.
  12. There are too many people with too much money and far toooo little driving skills.
  13. What I'm curious to know is the pad life with these kits? I haven't heard much talk about how long the brakes last.
  14. Yank will suit your needs and is within your price range.
  15. Richard Jenni WAS pretty funny.
  16. Jimp, I believe this thread talks about shops in the Spokane area. http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=695813 As far as swaybars go, no I have not upgraded those- YET. I would like to upgrade those, but I can only do so much at a time. From what I here though, everybody that's installed the Hotchkis bars loves them.
  17. Hey Jimp, welcome to the site! It's nice to have another WA member. Justin is very knowledgeable about tuning- he knows his stuff! There is another guy in Monroe, named Ellis. He doesn't use EFIlive, but is pretty good with tuning, transmissions and installations and rebuilds of other performance mods- his shop is Speed Secrets. He is on LS1tech in the Northwest forum (screen name 2fast4LV). Also, a guy in Portland is very good- his name is TJwong. I know there are some other performance shops in Spokane, but can't think of them off the top of my head. Good Luck!
  18. Contact a Private Investigator to catch here in action.
  19. Hey Pnblwzd, are those MOMO's forged?
