  1. thanks dude. sorry to hear about your tranny. have you gotten that issue straightened out yet? i don't remember reading about your tranny issues? my hunt for the silveradoss.com fastest top 10 list continues.
  2. nice truck. i'm not a big fan of the lifted off-road type trucks, but i give credit when credit is due. love the wheels.
  3. yep, all my mods are in my sig. the only weight reduction i did was removed the tailgate, removed the spare tire, and took out my sub box.
  4. Sorry, i don't have any of the numbers your asking for but i do have a mid 12 second SS and can tell you that you don't need 500rwhp to acomplish that. I don't know what my truck puts down, but i doubt its anywhere near 500rwhp and i ran a 12.66 @ 105mph 3 days ago.

what exactly is "payload"? i've always wondered that. is it how much weight you can put in the bed?
  6. what is this "resonator" they speak of?
  7. good numbers man. now that you got the base line runs in, what kinda mods are you thinking of doing?
  8. well, in that case, i would deffanetly get the shift kit. if for nothing else, it makes for a more (somewhat) reliable tranny. I personally wouldn't do a stall converter until you get FI. Thats just me though. IMO, i say do the shift kit and the E-fans. or, the shift kit and the headers/cats
  9. before we can tell you what your next mod should be, tell us what your current mods are?
  10. I"m also in Pittsburgh and am willing to lend a hand for sure. My truck is not stock though, and i know you mentioned you wanted a stock truck to work with but alot of pittsburgh guys here and are willing to help out.
  11. i personally think its badass. that guy probably has alot of blood, sweat, and tears into the thing. not to mention a fortune in cash. i think it would make a excellent show truck. its really too bad he won't get much for it. show cars never hold there value unless they are wanted by a collector or are a rare type of car. IMO, there are a ton of things i would have done differenlty, but i'm sure that guy had his reason for making it what it is. either way, i'm jealous....
  12. what are the plastic coverss called that you remove just by pulling up the clips to run speaker wire or amp power wire under? is that making any sense? you know, the interior color matched plastic panels that run all the way the rocker that has a couple grooves in it for "foot traction" getting in and out of the truck? i ask because i've broken almost all the clips on both the driver side and passenger side on mine from pulling them up and snapping them back into place so many times. i need to get new ones, but i'm sure getting them from the dealer will be serious $$$$$$. i'm trying to find them on ebay or something but don't know exactly what there called.
  13. great idea! lets also see how many SS's we can get into the 11's
  14. EscaladeSS, can we get some pics of the car farm you have? i would love to see all those rides you got in your sig.
  15. a blinking CEL means misfire. obviously misfire is bad, but how bad, that i don't know? i would not continue to run in the range where misfiring occurs thats for sure. i have ngk tr6 plugs with msd wires and i occasionally still get the blinking misfire CEL, but it even happened once while i was scanning with hptuners and it did not register any codes?
  16. scratch what i said earlier. my new goal is to be in the top 10 fastest silverado ss list.
  17. i was hoping you'd see this today. glad to hear from you. looks like you'll be playing catch up when you get back....
  18. My other hobby is riding my cbr and track days at mid-ohio. This pic is me last summer at mid-ohio.
  19. HELL YEAH WE ARE! btw, justin get me your email addy so i can forward those pics to you.
  20. yeah man, im still pretty shocked at the times i turned yesterday. especially since i only ran a 13.44 last year. only mods since then was me dropping down to a 2.8 pulley, shift kit, and the dynatech headers (which made a huge difference). but, i owe alot to zippy for hooking me up with a killer tune. when i checked my timeslip, i almost pissed myself.
