  1. I have a Pioneer AVIC Z1 double din head unit for sale. The head unit is a AVIC Z1 but has been completely updated to a AVIC Z3 software and 2010 maps. Included with the head unit is a brand new unopened double din mounting kit for 2007nbs - 2012 trucks (Metra 95-3305) and a brand new unopend PAC OS-4 interface which allows full and complete integration with the factory system including Onstar, door/signal chimes, Bose or non-bose, etc. Also included is a brand new, unopened IPOD adapter interface (Pioneer CD-100 II), a used but in perfect condition SiriusXM satelltie radio tuner/reciever, and a brand new unopened Pionerr wiring harness. The head unit is in perfect working condition and as i mentioned above, the hard drive and firmware in the head unit was completely updated so this now functions fully as a AVIC Z3 with the latest (2010) Navigation maps. There is a scratch on the screen that is small but is visible when the head unit is off. When the head unit is on you cannot see the scratch at all and it does not affect the functionality of the touch screen at all. This is EVERYTHING you need to install this unit into a 2007 to present GMC Sierra or Chevy Silverado.

  2. Clean truck, I wish I had even a cheap dd

Btw the afm can mess up (lifters collapsing causing misfire(s)) and cause a big bill to get fixed. just happened to my Dad's truck but at 150k

Interesting, how do you know for sure AFM caused this?

  3. I picked this up the Monday after Christmas. Only mods so far are window tint and a Compustar alarm/remote start (Compustar RF-P2W901-SS). Soon will have a Pioneer double-din dvd nav system and K&N CAI, and of course a tune. Other than that leaving it stock. Probably will get a bed cover at some point down the road.

It was on the lot for $26k, it has 59k miles on it. I got it for $22k out the door, including tax, title, etc. So far, i'm REALLY happy with it. I'm reading a lot of people are complaining about the AFM but damn i'm really digging it lol. any comments welcome.

  4. Hey Guys, i'm looking for specific feedback on these two models of remote starts / alarms:

    Compustar RF-P2W901-SS

    Prestige SS9000

Does anyone have any direct experience with either one of these two systems? I would love to hear from you please, and also how much you paid to have them installed and which GM bypass modules were used in your installation. Thank you.

  5. I have a question for you guys that do your own installs for things like alarms, remote starts, and car audio....where do you get your supplies? Things like crimp on connectors, butt connectors, etc? I don't want the cheap shit from Walmart but I don't want to have to buy in bulk either.

Car runs, drives, and looks fantastic. It is a black car, there are some scratches and rock chips. Nothing major or out of the ordinary from daily driving. Drivers side front tire has a slow leak i put air in in every couple of days, i just have not had time to get it taken care of and i could not find a hole. That is it.....there is NOTHING, absolutely NOTHING wrong with this car. It runs and drives perfectly. I drive this car every day to and from work. I don’t want to sell it but I need a truck. I changed the engine oil every 3k miles. Trans fluid was changed by Nissan at 45k miles.

Serious inquiries only. The only reason i'm selling this car is because i need a truck. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this car. I'm the second owner. I bought it with 26k miles from a guy in York PA who was the original owner. Its never been in an accident. It goes GREAT in the snow!

Again, serious inquiries only. No trades!

  7. Hey Kevin!

Sorry to hear about you being raped by the inspection station and the dealer for charging that much to change an LED light in a mirror, but unfortunately its been that way in PA for as long as i can remember. I remember being ALMOST failed once for a third brake light on the cab of my old truck being out. Luckily i knew the inspector and he just told me to get it fixed next time i get the chance. Its not like its REALLY a safety item, some vehicles don't even have them!

  8. Hey guys. i have not been around much lately but thats going to change.

anyways, we're thinking of moving from Pittsburgh down to the Fort Mills S. Carolina area and was wondering if any of you guys lived near by? I'm in the IT field so i will be looking for a job, probably early 2012. Just trying to get a feel if i will know anyone in the area or what its like down there. Nothing is concrete and we have yet to even visit the area but are headed down there next weekend. anyways, post up if you are from or know the area or know of any businesses with deep roots in the technology industry. thanks!
