  1. I bought OEM GM door sill plates a while back to paint and replace my stockers. Well, that idea never happened so i just have these brand new panels sitting in my garage. They are still in the orig. boxes. They are for my 2003 SSS but i'm sure they probably fit all years. I need them gone. If anyone has theirs all banged up or paint chipping/peeling this would be a perfect solution.

Here is a picture of what i'm talking about:

I'd like to get $100 plus actual shipping. Thats a 50% discount.

NO CANADIANS unless you're willing to pay the shipping.

    paypal accepted, but add 4%

  2. Let me build it :). Only take a few hours.

its not the building part that i don't have time for (well, i guess it is that too) but its the research and spec'ing of parts that i don't want to get into, plus my budget is tight and need to use a charge card for it.

  3. General Chrome in Alpharetta, GA - Has anyone ever dealt with this company? i'm sending them a set of wheels to be stripped and re-chromed and was hoping for some feedback on them as a company.

Has anyone ever sent out wheels to be re-chromed to any company? How was your expereince and what all was involved? Anything to watch out for?

    Thanks.

  4. You're best bet is to eliminate their food source, grubs. Treat your yard with Scott's GrubEx or something comparable and they should leave once there is nothing left for them to eat.

Another thing you can try in conjunction with the grub control is something called Whole Control. It is made from castor oil so it does not contain pesticides. The website below is just an example. You can buy Whole Control other places.

yep, get rid of the grubs and your moles will be gone soon after. i had the same problem and scotts grubex or whatever worked

  5. Holty I never did see the finish products under your hood. If you dont mind PM or post up a pic of your engine bay. Thanks

No problem Art, i'll get the pics posted up asap! I think i have a few of the RAD cover but i didn't install the fuse box cover until later so i don't know if i have any pictures of it or not. I had a inline fuse mounted to the stock fuse box cover so i had to re-arrange some wiring to keep the carbon fiber cover from getting holes drilled in it to mount the in line fuse.

  6. Damn I forgot I made one for you LOL. It has been a long time... There are only like 4 of these that were ever made. BUMP

Thanks Art! All the parts are fantastic! (as you already know). After looking it over i decided not to use the bowtie because i don't have any other carbon fiber on the exterior and it just didn't look right to me on my RED SS. On Black or even blue it would look pretty sick!

  7. I have a set of four 22X10 wheels that I would like to send out to be re-chromed. They are approx 5 years old and are in decent shape but they are scratched up and generally dull looking. I have attached a picture of them.

These wheels have been discontinued and instead of buying a new brand/style I would like to have these refinished.

Can anyone recommend a HIGHLY reliable and reputable place to have this done? I already got a few quotes and they seem to be all over the board. Once place i got a quote for about $900 and another place quoted me close to $1600. I have had some communications with http://www.calchrome.com/ and they seem to be on the "up and up".

    Any suggestions?
