I"m shopping around for a new camcorder. I would like to get one with a built in Hard Drive, preferably a Sony or a Canon. Does anyone have experience with the newer High Definition camcorders? I want a High Def camcorder, but am unsure how to view the HD content on the computer or on my big screen? Do i need to burn it to a blue ray disc or hook it up directly using HDMI cables? Any advice on specific camcorder models would be appreciated.

Nice! ...Is that a .38 / 357Mag Ruger??? I can't quite make it out. If so I shot that one and it is a well made gun...heavy, but surely not cheaply made.
BTW, Are you on the AR forum???
yep, sure is!
yeah, i'm on the ar forum but don't post much. no need to post over there, too much info already

FANTASTIC! best pics of seen in a long while...

my alpine flip down works fine, you just have to have it in drive when you flip it up or down, or just pull the gear shift inward toward you until the screen passes. no big deal cause mine stays open 100% of the time anyways.

i agree with Kevin, they look fantastic. i have not installed mine or taken pics yet that is why i have not posted about it. Art was VERY good to deal with and communicated throughout the process. i'm very happy as well.

Motegi MR7 (Silver) 17inch wheels w/ Kumho tires P225/50R17
Dual Bolt pattern 5x100/5x114.3
(4) Motegi MR7 17x7
(4) Kumho Solus KH16 P225/50R17 mounted and balanced with 80%+ tread - tires have less than 5,000 miles on them
The tires in the pictures are NOT the tires that are on it now, these pictures are before i bought the Kumho's. The Kumho's are new and i don't have updated pictures of them.
Wheels are in GREAT shape, one does have some extremely unnoticeable road rash but it is so small the pictures do not show it. Had these on my Nissan Maxima for a few months before i traded it in. Fits MANY different vehicles, the 5x114.3 bolt pattern is very popular.
$300
Local pick up only. (Pittsburgh, PA)

Need Advice On Buying A Camcorder
in Off-Topic/General
Posted
Thanks for the advice Kevin.
I"ve been reading a lot on the new technologies and am having a hard time deciding between HDD camcorders and ones with Flash memory.
Also, what format does your camcorder record in? AVCHD?
