  1. what bugs? i don't see any bugs?
  2. DO IT! Please! no offense to this puffer dude, but he is new and has not been established here. also, none of his posts said anything about selling these. i believe he just wanted to show what he has done to his truck, not advertise that he is selling them. I say GO with it! A new mold would be great! can't wait to see it.
  3. wow that looks awesome! i wanted to get in on the last BSER purchase, but couldn't come up with the money in time. so now i still looking, i would deffanetly like to get this one. how much?
  4. isn't cincinatti northern ohio? i believe it is. if so, your like a hop, skip and a jump from zippy. thats a no brainer if you ask me.
  5. that would be cool, but no way in hell they would fit me. I'm 5'10" and weigh about 260lbs. lol
  6. nah, beaver run is a road course and we are talking about race bikes, not 1/4 mile for our trucks. (notice my avatar).
  7. IMO, i'd say stick with the 3.0 pulley. im running the 2.8 pulley and only seeing 8-9psi and spinning the shit out of it for daily driving, so if your seeing 7psi with the 3.0, you should be good as far as power/safety ratio is concerned.
  8. you guys have to remember, GMPD is just a dealership with a website to order parts from. GM has no control over what that website sells it parts for and you are not ordering anything directly from GM. The name of the dealership that hosts GMPD is called Flow Chevrolet. btw, if you need GM parts, you can check with zippy, he can get most anything you need for a good price.
  9. yep, i just bought a pair to put on the wife's Tiburon. Paid $244 installed for two front tires, mounted and balanced. so far, so good. only have about 10 miles on them, so can't really give you a good solid opinion.
  10. yeah, looks like just a tad too much sidewall for me. but, they still look pretty damn good.
  11. no, i'm had a new bung welded in, so i now have 5 02 sensors LOL. i don't know what to tell you on the oscillation issue as i'm only using bank 1. i would, but i don't have full leathers and they won't let you on the track without them. i would love to go though. what kind of leathers do you have? i can't justify buying them to because they would only get used like 1 or twice a year.
  12. cool, glad you got it figured out. i did know that the blue wire was the signal wire as that is where i tapped in my nb 02 gauge, but the other wires i didn't know which was which, good work! i don't know what the LM-1 programmer looks like, but my LC-1 gives you 4 options: immediate 1/12 1/6 1/3 i'm using 1/6th. hope this helps.
  13. i want to help you, i really do as i know how frustrating it is to wire these things up. i just don't completely understand your question. Your LM-1 only has 3 wires? If you could explain a little more, i might be able to make some suggestions.
  14. DAMNIT! i just sent them a check for a 2 year subscription just because of that one article they did on Earl's SS. man, this sucks.
  15. zippy, he is wanting to use his LM-1 WB 02 sensor to log WB data, and simulate a NB sensor so he dosn't have to add a new bung in his exhaust. don't know if this is what your talking about, but you can check this link and it should give you ALL the answers you need. I know you are wiring a LM-1, but the LC-1 wires basically the exact same way. http://www.hptuners.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2947
  16. good job man! i had to completely cut those brackets out also. they scratched the HELL out of my old 500/1. took the sawzall to them and never looked back! lets see some pics of the entire setup!

    Factory Alarm

unfortuneatly, that is not possible. the 1 and 2 functions are programmed in the BCM and aftermarket remotes cannot control the factory BCM, thats why they come with seperate "brains" that interact with the BCM. would be nice though.
  18. good job zip! sorry to hear about the van, but atleast you caught him. how did he get in it anyway? doors unlocked?
  19. i use a 110.5 inch Gatorback belt found here: http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.a...15&autoview=sku
  20. i was just gonna say i knew that i knew someone with a TCS converter lol.

    Factory Alarm

I had my car broken into back when i was in high school. They took my head unit, my subs and my amps. I felt so violated. It made me sick for days thinking about it. I didn't care about the stereo stuff that much, but just the feeling of being robbed made me sick to my stomach. I still to this day have nightmares about people braking into my vehicles, especially the SS. Ever since then, i have always had high end alarm systems put in my vehicles. The SS is no different. It has a Viper 791xv system, with two extra hidden interior sirens, battery backup, and mercury switches on the hood and tailgate. Plus i had the installer wire loom all the wires under the dash and relocate my alarm brain to behind the factory subwoofer instead of just under the dash where they are normally installed to. Also, my factory alarm is still intact, so that will go off as well as my Viper. I hate thieves, and if i catch someone trying to break into my truck, i will inflict serious pain on them. very serious pain. dude, if i were you, i would think about an aftermarket alarm, even if its just a cheaper model, it will still have shock sensors that will go off if the window is broken. Luckily now i have a house with a attached garage, and a security system in the house with motion, glass break, door and windows sensors. Yes, i'm paranoid.
  22. I'm beginning to think im living a shallow life as far as forums go. The only two i really visit are this one, perftrucks, and hptuners. so what are all the different forums you guys are members of?
