  1. there's a local guy rockin a stretch hummer h2 for his DD! Crazy, but it works for him i guess.
  2. be sure to clean the covers very well with soap and water. Then rough them up with some scotch brite and then wipe down with some surface cleaner (ex.: Xylene, mineral spirits, etc.) Some people spray the paint to the bare surface but i would prefer to use a sandable primer and make sure everything is smooth. Once that is down, spray your color, and let dry completely. Krylon seems to be the stuff of choice. Some people have sprayed Krylon fusion to bare plastic and had good luck with it. You could probably spray a couple coats of clear over the color if you really want it to last, and you could probably polish it up pretty well also. hope this gives you some direction.
  3. I had the dual sport exhaust on mine for about a year. It sounded good, not quite as loud as i would have liked it to be, so I kept the pipes and swapped the heavy ass Gibson muffler for a couple of SLP Loudmouth Resonators about a month ago. IMO it sounds wicked at WOT but is fairly mellow when driving normally.
  4. right on man. I've been itchin to see the finished product.
  5. I'm with ya. Been around for 2 1/2 years, dont plan on leaving anytime soon. I dont contribute as much as i used to, but i do when i feel neccessary.
  6. I voted skeptical. No first hand encounters, but like others have said, some things are just un-explainable. So my mind is open.
  7. wow... congrats, i guess. I'm still working for 3k
  8. Nice Kills. STS V is one sexy car. I've been lucky enough to drive a CTS V and an STS V, both are very impressive cars.
  9. bad ass man. 69 is one of my favorite years of the Camaro.
  10. Drivetrain: AWD Drop: Belltech 2/2 Front: belltech drop keys Rear: belltech Shackles Adjustment: None, alignment Shocks: Belltech nitro active drop shocks Other: Planning on 3" rear springs and spindles in the near future along with new 20" centerline wheels and 275/45R20 tires. 11. Looks good as new. The stripe really makes it stand out, I like it. Not sure if my truck could pull it off, but looks very nice on yours.
  12. I say if its something you really want to do, go for it. Diesels can make a whole lot of power with minimal modifications. I would swap my truck for a D-max if i was given the oppertunity.
  13. I'm not gonna lie, i think it looks bad ass. Best looking Dodge so far. Should be interesting to see how it performs, cause it looks really heavy.
  14. the garage with the maro, the vette and the pontiac is my fav. I want to have a setup similar to that someday.
  15. I'm with Big O, you may paint your grilles black, along with the bowtie. that would look killer. your on the right track.
  16. I like it, looks bad ass. Ready for some offroading.
  17. I had a Dodge that did that. The cat (yes only one) was falling apart and would plug the exhaust, and go BOOM! Then a big puff of smoke would come out and little chunks of metal. thats crazy though, i've never seen anything like that!
  18. Nice! its a good effort... you'd think if they were smart enough to put the power bar in a couple of sandles to keep it dry, they would realize that they could probably move the hot plate out of the pool/flooded raft.
