That is exactly what they have. I scanned it anyway and alll unit said was passed. It was for emission codes only according to box. Well I changed the brake light and warning still comes on but it may take a couple drives to reset pcm otherwise I found a small shop with a Tech II but I cant get in till later in the week.

Wasn't there just another potential insurance fraud post like 2 weeks ago? We learned that 95% of this site is against it. p.s. now that you put it in writing I wouldn't recomend cheating. I just called and the guy I talked to said only check engine codes. Maybe he just doesn't know?

We don't have an Oreilly's but we do have Autozones. I thought they could only scan check engine codes I will call and see if their scanner reads these codes.

I think I do have a brake light out. But it has been out for about a week and it just started the warning Sat. night.

Does the computer check for pad wear or is it going to be something else in the system? Pedal feels the same as it has.

Well I got it home. I don't know what i am going to do to it yet. Got it running tonight but needs some tinkering. I have to drain all the gas out of it and change the plugs. It is a little short for my taste too but the amount of attention it gets is sick.

Hopefully I will be able to pick this up but it has to be gone today and my service brake system light just came on last night. I am trying to get someone else to tow it for me so it doesn't get scrapped. It is a 57 chevy wagon shortened an on a 76 blazer frame. Needs alot of work but could be fun. 350/350 4x4 Also it is near Waukegon IL. So if I cant get it towed today and you are near there maybe we can work something out to buy me a day or two.

Did more than one auto come in a 99 1500? I have a deal lined up for a trade for a car in exchange for a tranny for his truck or enough cash for him to buy the trans. I figured I could get a better deal than him so I am trying to get as much info as possible ahead of time. I will be seeing him on Sun. for the specs of his truck and the car.
