I agree but full size 4x4 (awd) vs. mid size 2x4 is comparing apples to oranges. Two trucks should be at least similar? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Agreed. I think the reason they did that is because those are the best performers for that truck model. If you were to compare a AWD SSS vs. a 4x4 Crew Cab ram... it wouldn't even be close. A rcsb ram and a ext. cab SS are almost identical in weight, which makes for a good matchup.

I've beat a a 2wd r/c hemi, stock on stock. They are so over rated. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That's fine that you think that. But just seems a little odd how they run the same times within a tenth of a second (stock), and they're so slow... I've heard plenty of races going both ways.

I've withheld judgement long enough. My conclusion....

He did say 04GT, so that was the 260hp version. I believe stock they were a mid 14 second car. He must be modded pretty good. I got to thinking about it and wouldn't he be in overdrive by that speed, I'm not sure cause I don't know yall's tranny ratio's and tire size. But I would think that if he was in OD his truck would pretty much quit accelerating, with its aerodynamics and such.

I'll withhold judgement until I see the vid. Seems a little far fetched to me.

Looking at the pics it does look ricerish. The pics don't even do these flames justice. It looks ten times better in person, the old guy in the last pic is the one that painted them freehand, he's awesome.

I've seen them run low to mid 9's in the 1/8, but I've also seen them run mid 8's... if he can drive he'll probaly take you but it'll be fun either way. I think they have 300hp and 300tq.

That's kinda what I figured but I wasn't sure.

I seen a black Intimidator SSS the other week and I have been meaning to ask what it was. Is there a difference in performance or is it just a looks package??
