  1. No, these bolt up to a set of longtubes.
  2. LOL I'm glad to see you got that but hey I will say atleast you did it yourself and have enough pride to show your work! It doesn't really matter as long as it holds and doesn't leak! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I am by no means a master welder But when it comes to building cabinets and furniture, I'm the go to guy around these parts.
  3. You making fun of my welds?? ;)
  4. I just wanted to brag on my new exhaust system I built this weekend. It consists of all mandrel bent pipe, 2 1/2" pipe till the y-pipe which feeds into a 3" in/out moroso spiral flow race muffler, then I just have a turndown after that. I fixed my cutouts so that I can change between them and my converters by just removing a few bolts. Here's a sound clip of it. http://media.putfile.com/Moroso-spiral-flow-muffler
  5. My bet would be on the ram.... 425 HP
  6. nice What were you running against??

    13.12@104 w/ 1.89 60'.....
  8. I've got my truck back now. The spider gears shattered which caused pretty much everything else in the rear to go. The only thing they didn't replace is the axles. I've orederd a powertrax locker, so maybe I won't have to deal with this again. They didn't even ask any questions at the dealership
  9. Way to go The century mark is tough to break in a truck.
  10. I wouldn't worry about it. I post videos on that site cause it's convienent. I don't even bother reading the idiotic reply's that come along with it. I seriously think that 90% of the people that respond on that site are in the age from 12-15.

    launching 2wd

It's all in your 60'. Your mph doesn't seem to be off much since your trukc is stock. After some practice you should be able to get your 60' time down in the 2.1 range.
  12. RWD, as evidence by the wheelspin ;)
  13. Corrected for altitude and weather. Correction factor changes with temp/humidity, didn't you know that??? 2006LS2TB, try brake stalling it up to about 2000 rpm's with your foot on the brake, then release the brake and floor the gas at the same time when the last yellow lights up. This lets you launch at a slightly higher RPM. Also, you can shallow stage (BARELY turn on the stage light and don't roll forward at all once it's lit) to get a better "roll out" off of the line. Both will knock the 60 foot down a bit. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The TB doesn't like to be stalled up. I've tried that time and time again cause that is what works best on every other vehicle I've owned. It acts like it's pulling timing if I do that. The floor it and hold on technique seems to work best in it. I also try to stage as shallow as possible. JF-03SS, I actually ran a 14.5, but I was just showing that if I wasn't running in 90 degree weather with 70% humidity that my times have the capability of being in the 13's.
  14. Try this link http://videos.streetfire.net/video/1f6433d...c011a7f8c7c.htm Density Altitude = 3283 feet ET MPH Uncorrected 14.517 @ 95.40 Corrected 13.95 @ 99.15 Not too bad. The only mod I've done is replacing the stock muffler with a piece of pipe. My 60' time still sucks, 2.224. I only drive the TB about once a week so I haven't really figured out how to launch it best. I had about 250 lbs of extra weight in the truck, so it'll probaly run a 13.8 stock...
  15. Try giving it a minute to load up.
  16. Check this out, this video is from this past weekend. Since my truck is in the shop we decided to take the TB to the track. We wasn't even going to run it but half way there we decided to. So I had my fiance along with all of her stuff in there, so I still could've dropped about 250 lbs off of my race weight without taking anything off the truck. Anyway here's the video. Enjoy.. http://media.putfile.com/TBSS-vs-06-GTO
  17. That sucks man. Don't you hate it when shit like that happens.
  18. I kinda think it's the spider gears... I'm sure the ring and pinion gears are shot too. I'm having it towed to the dealer tomorrow. Keep your fingers crossed.
  19. It's still under warranty, I've only got 24,000 miles and it has a 70,000 mile powertrain warranty. The only mods I left on the truck are my CAI and my complete exhaust system. I got under my truck for about two hours scrubbing rubber out from all the little crevices. So I don't think they'll have a problem fixing it under warranty. If they don't, I think I'm going to locate a wrecked SRT-10. They have a Dana60 with 4.56 gears, so that should work pretty good for my truck.
  20. I only wish it was that simple...
  21. I just need to rant a little. I went tonight to get some more burnout pictures of my truck. During the third or fourth burnout my rearend went out. Just listen to this awful noise when I put it in gear. http://media.putfile.com/Somethings-broke- So now I've got to figure out my plan of attack. (No, I'm not going to trade it in for a SSS) At least I got a good pic.
  22. And here's a pic with a little more smoke...
