  1. Besides the fact that he's Canadian, how can you not like GSP?? ;)

    I'm still in shock that Serra won, it's obvious to me that GSP is a much better fighter, but shit happens. 99 times out of 100 GSP wins that fight, but like someone else said, that's why MMA is so fun to watch, you never know what's going to happen. I think Serra and Hughes should be a good fight to watch. My money's on Hughes, then GSP will just beat the poo out of him again and get his belt back... :pop:

  2. We could do that, but your only about 1.8 seconds slower in the 1/8th than I am. So it should be a good race. :P

  3. First off, that truck is tuned.. I don't know where you got the info that it's not. And I highly doubt it was 80 degrees on that pass. Look at what the guys are wearing. I honestly dont think he'll run 11's on motor, he may get close but I just don't see it. His truck weighs right at 4700 lbs without him in it, and I beleive hes around 250, so that would be a race weight of roughly 4900-5000 lbs. That was his first time at the track with that setup, so I think he'll be able to knock a tenth off just by getting used to it. Then throw in some decent weather and I thik he'll get low to mid 12's. Still not to shabby in my book.

     

    What's the race weight on most of the mid 12 5.3's??

     

    I know the last time at the track my truck with me in it weighed 4830 lbs. And I was able to muster off a [email protected] with a 2.09 60'. I still have to get some DR's, stall, and efan to hopefully hit the 12 second mark.

  4. I was in a hurry yesterday and didn't get to tell yall all of my mods. I have a AFE CAI, heddman longtube headers, dual cutouts about 12" from the collectors, superchips tuner, comp 268 cam and springs, auburn LSD, and a piggyback fuel controller.( There's no other way to adjust the A/F without it) Oh yeah, I was also running a shorter belt that bypassed the AC and power steering, but I didn't really notice any difference with that..

    I have most all bolt ons, minus efan. And the only internal enging mod is a comp 268 cam, with matching valve springs. I still have a stall converter, e-fan, and drag tires and wheels to go. I'm hoping to be in the 12.7-12.9 range all motor..( I can dream right...)

  7. Automatic..

    I really wanted a 6sp, but I can't find one that's worth a crap. And the ones that are in good shape are way out of my price range.

    This is a one owner car, and it was  a older man that had it.

     

    thats how i got mine, a 65 year old had it. it only had 22000 miles on it.

    mines only a auto too. i installed the 350hp slp kit, that really woke it up.

     

    Cool, I'll look into that. I haven't really started searching for mods YET.
