texas used to be a hot spot for a lot of members on here. i just came back from an extended vacation from the site. im not sure they still come around anymore. but welcome!

cams/heads/supporting mods- tune, exhaust, intake, and maybe a itty bitty 50 shot of juice would put you over a little pit. or look at it this way, slap a s/c on, but then what? you still aren't getting full gains with oem heads and cam on there anyway. find a starting point. mine was intake/exhaust/ then i was about to do a major head/cam swap that would have had a brutal idle and been as productive as a s/c. but dont forget about the trans on these trucks. it has to take the abuse too.

good point i believe p's and 99's kit came with a flash, but its been so long i can't remember and like i said im not sure they even still make em anymore.

do a search. not sure if mr. p and sprayed99 are still doing their e fan conversion, but just type in "e fan" in the search you there is a ton of info there for you to make an informed decision. look at the bright side...you don't have to work to get that fan off the water pump. the water pumps are easy to replace on these and even easier without the fan on it. hell do a search on water pumps and radiators or cam shaft swaps, and you may find some how-to's in there to do this on your own. 10mm socket is your friend! i've got ultra shallow 12pt (Injectors on cummins ISX) normal 6 and 12pt. extended 6 and 12pt. just working the kinks out dude it'll be ok. we're here to help.

if i may add a few of mine as well...and also to say there is always two sides or more sides to a story....and that i love Howie very much! some of you may remember we almost lost my mom but after being in a coma for 2 weeks, she woke up and is now the most proud grandmother...ever! here she is with Howie. my best friend said hes a true bad ass and everyone loves is crazy hair...gotta love it he is a very strong baby boy and i am very proud of him for fighting so hard while he was in the hospital and knocking it all out like nothing.

not exactly. i work for penske truck leasing. our moto is "buy new, maintain new, sell new." that specific one is just one of about 8 2006 ftl sleepers that are getting prepped to sell. so it looks clean because its been revived to back to new condition (not easy).
