  1. 3 babies in 3 weeks. the site is knockin em out! congrats our boy was born sept 23rd. i feel very comfortable driving howie around in the ss. awd, big, rear a/c and heating vents...basically the perfect blend of safety, comfort and badassness! "my baby on board is faster than your baby on board."
  2. thought you were going to say you caught someone trying to jack your truck...that would be cool. i caught a dude messing with my truck one time, he jumped up and took off in the getaway car. i gave chase in my truck, but he turned down a random street and i wasn't about to fall for that.
  3. howie and i bonded on friday night after i got off work. i talked to him, changed his diaper, he held my finger, and even roughed housed a little bit...he's a strong little guy. i wanted to put my wedding ring on him to see how big it was. he could fit 4 fingers in my ring, but i didn't want to force it down on his hand, so i let him hold it with two fingers... i'm so proud of him!
  4. what color smoke? and coolant level? correct oil used? oil pressure? and do the clear container test to see if there is any separation between liquids.
  5. does the oil level change? does your coolant level drop? could also fill a clear container with the oil from the engine and let it sit for a day or so and see if you get any separation between liquids.
  6. saw this truck while watching a national geographic documentary california plate, l.a. area claim your truck's props
  7. first things first...does the compressor engage with the a/c on? if it does, simply feel the low pressure hose (the larger of the two sizes). its should feel a little warmer than ice. if it feels warm you may have a low charge or worst case scenario a restricted orifice screen (failed compressor). if the line is warm, get your pressures checked to determine if it's a low charge or obstruction. obviously the pressures will be low with a low charge, but and obstruction will damn near pull the low side into a vacuum. after reading your post again, it sounds like it's a low charge or your fan clutch is worn. while driving there will be more air flow over the condenser than there is when standing still. however, im leaning more towards a low charge.
  8. he held on to my finger today...damn near snapped it off. making good progress everyday
  9. thanks to all! your thoughts and prayers have been helping us all. he was taken off the respirator after only two days and is breathing on his own. they are calling him the superstar baby in the nicu. one step at a time though, he is under the light to help while is liver matures. again, thanks to everyone! we'll keep the updates coming, and with how much progress he makes everyday, there will be a lot of them. now i have to get "its a boy" cigars instead of girl cigars.
  10. the most obvious answer is right under your nose...tell them to go to sss.com and we'll vouch for you!
  11. welcome there must be a new caps lock computer virus going around.
  12. we had our baby boy today. premature, yes, but he looks good. just need prayers and the always loyal friends of sss.com. you guys have helped me and my family through my moms trouble, and i know this is no different. he cried and was moving a lot, so im happy about that. it was a shock though, because he was labeled a she. i got my boy! howard was my grandpas name, he is the one in the picture to the left richard was melissas dad's name
  13. i'd like to know their reason for replacing the compressor. accumulators and driers do eventually become saturated and will hinder the performance of the a/c system. they should also replace the orifice screen if they are replacing the compressor.
  14. hot damn! i know melissa and i are down. won't make it to sema, but we are down to eat, and im always good to drink. once you get a list of people, lets get a food/drink list together...let us know frank
  15. king me! don't let the car fool you, he actually has very good hygiene...he put a zipper on his "swamp cooler" hat so that he can remove the fans and clean the hat...ingenious!
  16. thought the exact same thing...but i don't think i would mind doing that for a living.
  17. i'm not worried about how my valve caps look, im more worried about protection. gator caps are perfect when airing up tires. they will not only protect the threads of the stem but also will prevent the core from sticking open and or breaking.
  18. had my first cigar yesterday (davidoff robusto "private stock long filler no.11") and didn't really like it. but today i smoked a davidoff robusto "zino classic no. 6" and liked it a lot more. tomorrow will be a davidoff robusto "griffin's," then friday will be the davidoff robusto "avo xo intermezzo" and saturday will be a davidoff robusto "zino platinum scepter grand master." will keep you all posted, and hopefully they will continue to get better.
