  2. so the part number you posted will work on 05 extended cab? ive heard of some for only rc and some for only certain year frames.
  3. well i had the 2 degree bushings pressed in along with some moog balljoints. everything went great. i brought the parts and my buddy at sears auto pressed it all in for 40 bucks. put the arms back on and some new belltech street perf shocks. went and had a allignment today and everything went right into spec. with a lil bit of room left but not much. the truck rides and feels so much better. positive feel now and no neg camber leaning the tires in. i also adjusted the t bars before i went this morning so it sits perfect no lean. im deff excited and content now. next is new sway bar end link and a rear sway bar. hope this helps anyone who goes this route.

  6. im going to a IMSS one. this is silver birch. its good shape. the inside part of it that faces the bed has some marks from my fourwheeler hitting it. its not bad at all though. ill add some pics later today of it. im asking 80 plus shipping.
  7. well my 05 silverado ls i had before my SS had drum brakes. so i figured the 10 bolt awd SS's in 05 got them too. and i didnt know the 03 and 04 SS's had the 4l65. the trann id sheet i looked at one shop showed a 60e. and your right black looks best i wish i had got one more and more lately
  8. i do believe the 05 and up lq9 had a stronger rotating assembly? also the 2wd SS have 4l65e's little strong then a 4l60 since it has a 5 plantary instead of 4. the bose sucks if you ever plan on doing a real system in the truck. if you get a 05 and up be prepared for people to ask you if its a real SS since you have drum brakes in the rear.
  9. lol i was just crusing then after stopping for pic when i went to idle away it spun a little and TC was kicking on so i turned it off real quick not realize i was giving it a 1/4 throttle. so the pipes rang a little bit and i had every 80 plus year old northern tourist looking at me like im gonna bomb the beach or something. i was tempted to floor it and blow some donuts haha. but sadly i did that when i was 17 on spring break in daytona and learned my lesson when a fourwheeler pulled me over. it was my bday so he let me go... but everyone form my highschool was at the hotel yelling and shit going crazy.. good times
  10. mine took about 2 hours. with installing arp header studs. and cutting old exhuast out. i got 4 3 inch stainless band clamps from carquest and have no leaks.

  13. thanks guys. if i did the wheel and tails i would do the emblems also. all my front grills are already satin black. i think the whole air duct painted black would look like its missing going down the road. next week be nice. my grant wheel will be here.blackbear tune be in. the rest of my belltech shocks. and i should have my allignment fixed
  14. my old blue truck had EVO HAHA since i beat my buddys evo that said IEAT V8. and my other buddys that said V8 LOL. for the ss this year i was thinking. RIP SRT RIP SVT 2WD SSS NOS SS even though you already made your choice this is a good thread for ideas

  16. myself and the ole lady went to st aug for 2 days to enjoy some sites. i couldnt help but get some snap shots on the beach. i took the grill and air ducts out to fit on the new bumper im having painted. the corsa let me know what ya think, i wanna satin black my wheels and tint the tails but i dont know yet.
  17. ya i ordered the 2 degree. figured i would have some safe room. im thinking i can lower the passenger side shackle one hole and make it match the driver side and fix the lean. but i dont like the look on the driver side.
  18. i recently switched to a single 3 inch with a corsa. only reason for selling its only couple months old. stainless, 2.5 daul in, 2.5 daul out with nice set of turn down's welded on. its a built in x pipe one. it sounded good on the truck. asking 100 plus shipping, its in a box ready to go.
  19. i never thought of just running the uppers. i kept thinking i had to buy lower and uppers which is bunch of money lol. i have the bushing on the way now from summit for 70 shipped. will see how these work out. if not ill order the uppers. now i gotta dail in my keys to get rid of the chevy lean then get it alligned
  20. how hard is this kit? do i have to have them pressed in? then a average allignment shop will be able to figure out how to adjust them correct?
  21. i have a 05 SS 2wd. i did 2 inch spindles then added eibach keys. i went and got a allignment and it was right outside of specs for camber. now i cranked them down more so its about a 4 inch drop in the front. i need some kind of kit to fix the camber before i tear through tires monthly. my last resort is upper and lower control arms.. which would be nice to have back stock steering and such. but if anyone knows of a aftermarket camber bolt or something let me know. thanks
