My Vega was going to be in this issue, until I showed them my Camaro. They said if they used my Camaro instead of my Vega, I would get the cover. Maybe next time.

Trans Brake, Soft Launch, Stock Suspension, Small Back Tire (235/60-15 MT ET STREET RADIAL). Here is a time slip from one of the above calculations.

I have a time slip with: 60' = 1.41 330' = 4.01 1/8th= 6.21 @ 111.29 which calculates to 0 to 60 in 1.81 seconds. & I have a time slip with: 60' = 1.47 330' = 4.04 1/8th= 6.20 @ 113.49 which calculates to 0 to 60 in 1.73 seconds.

0 to 60 = 1.78 91-Octane "Chevy Power"

hey 06vho, thanks a lot, that seems like a much better track, only 600 feet above sea level means almost an exact time. so no need to calculate squat!, lol. it seems there next open event is march 2-4 at 8:am, i'm down for that for sure. you know if anyone else is going?. also are you still able to do a tune? i remember when we talked before you offered to help me with the tune, i thought i was going to go with jessie (W4M) but he don't have any 06 cores yet. so if your still able to do it PM me and i'll give you my number or give me yours and i'll call you. thanks again. Some of us have talked about going to Famoso. No set plans that I know of though. As for tuning help, I won't have any free time for a couple of months.

I don't take the Camaro to the track very often, it is a street cruiser that gets close to 20 mpg on the freeway. It only runs 11's, so don't expect much. If I run Summit Series next year I might run the Camaro, decisions - decisions.

I will likely be there. I might take my '68 SS Camaro this time.

Infineon Raceway is one of the fastest tracks in the country. The elevation is nearly sea level. Many NHRA national records come from that track. I am not knocking your truck, it is haulin' butt. You are lucky to be able to run at such a great track.

It will make full boost in neutral. You would have to hold it at WOT for a while though, KABOOM!!!!! Centrifugal superchargers are not positive displacement compressors, so there is some lag. With the Whipple Supercharger I put on my truck it makes instant boost in neutral, because it is a positive displacement compressor, no lag. Only turbos need load to make boost, due to the fact that they need exhaust heat to expand the exhaust gasses to spin the turbine fast enough to make boost.
