  1. Adams truck was not as loud as the guy who got kicked out on Saturday. Not yet anyhow.
  2. After the cats, could give you a small performance gain, not much though. Auto Club Dragway (Fontana) and some other tracks have muffler rules: Exhaust: Must be routed through street legal muffler(s). All runs will be monitored on a decibel meter (100db at 100" from the strip). If it is too loud you will not be allowed to run. NO EXCEPTIONS! It is your responsibility. I saw a guy get kicked out last Saturday for being too loud. Click here for more rules.
  3. deduct about a foot for the fence legs that she is standing on, still big though.
  4. Welcome to the site.
  5. Me last month towing my race car to Las Vegas.
  6. California has some very nice places. The Pacific Ocean just doesn't even come close to the Caribbean though. Cabo San Lucas and Puerto Vallarta are also very nice, but they don't compare to Cancun, IMHO. Cancun is just one of the many awesome places in the Caribbean.
  7. Did not check DA. Saturday I trailered my car there. My speed was only 133mph, my speed is usually around 139mph. I thought about turning on my weather station, but it was too hot and I was too lazy. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Are you saying you got your truck to 133 with the trailer behind it? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> uhhh, not exactly. the car I trailered there would only hit 133mph.
  8. Kyle, a picture is worth a thousand words. I don't think we had enough words to figure it out.
  9. jail time, I don't think so!!!! stiff fines, absolutely!!!!! I heard the fine just for no cat in California is $2,750.00 I can think of alot of better mods for that much money
  10. Yeah, I know that announcer very well. He works at Rotolo Chevrolet and he about wets his pants everytime I run 14-something! He was lead to believe that our trucks are slugs so he's impressed by anything under 15 seconds coming from us. A 12.9 is pretty damn impressive for any car, let alone 5500 (or so) pound truck! Great job again Chase and company! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Mike English is a character and a good anouncer. I think it was Bruce that made the comment though. Was Scott there on Sunday or at Irwindale?
  11. The ones with the drive on platforms is random check or suspicious vehicles. The ones with the camera looking things may get your license plate number. If you fail miserably, you might find out why they call it the SLAMMER or worse . and/or a stiff fine!!!!! My 11-second Silverado is Smog Legal and passes the test.
  12. I saw the one with the camera looking things on the Haven on ramp to the 210 Freeway. I know you don't daily drive your truck. I was mentioning it for those that do.
  13. Xel-Ha While snorkling at Xel-Ha I saw a Sea Turtle, a Stingray and a huge frickin Barracuda. I also caught a Conch and a Hermit Crab. Saw lots of other fish too. If the Iguanas were any bigger there you could ride them.
  14. I have been to Cancun in October, my wedding anniversary is in October. It is very nice in October, still on the warm side. October is at the end of Hurricane Season, so keep an I on the storm watch for that area. If you like the water and like to go snorkling. I highly recommend a trip to "Xel-Ha". "Xcaret" is also really nice, especially if you want to swim with dolphins. If you are a certified scuba diver, you got to go to "Cozumel". The ancient Maya ruin of "Tulum" is a pretty popular tour. If you do a search for anything I put in"quotes" you can get more information on those places and see if any of them are for you. I hope you have a great time!!!
  15. The place with the underground rivers is called "Xcaret". Dang the water is cold in those underground rivers.
  16. If you walk the beach the naked chicks are there. Sorry, I only took mental pictures of them.
  17. Xel-Ha is one of the coolest places on the planet, IMO. I have been to Tulum, nice sights. Once was enough for me though.
  18. Was it All-Inclusive??? BTW ... Doesn't the plane ride home always suck!!!! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes, The Grand Royal Solaris is All-Inclusive and very nice. I don't always go All-Inclusive in Cancun though. Sometimes we know we will be doing to many activities away from the resort to take advantage of All-Inclusive.
  19. The first time I went to Cancun I checked out the Pyramids and Senor Frogs, both are really cool. Now I just go for the beautiful ocean activities.
  20. Ya, it's almost back to normal. I was actually scheduled to go there the week after the hurricane hit and they said everything was closed or missing off of the map.
  21. The Grand Royal Solaris. I stay somewhere different each time I go. There are alot of nice resorts on the beach there.
  22. WOW, Thanks for all of the nice replies. It is one of my favorite vacation spots. This was my fourth time in Cancun, MX.
  23. Did not check DA. Saturday I trailered my car there. My speed was only 133mph, my speed is usually around 139mph. I thought about turning on my weather station, but it was too hot and I was too lazy.
