  1. Sounds like your programming went bad. Theres a mode with the viper alarms that will start the car ever couple of hr or however its set. I found it out the same way Chase did. Was sleeping in the middle of the night. Heard my truck start, Ran out side with a gun to find no one in it. Alarm still on but truck was running. I read the owner manual and learn there was Alot of different modes you can program.

Try to press the lock and unlock toghter, your lights should flash 4 times. After a couple of seconds you car should start. After it running unlock the doors and press on the footbrake with no keys in. The truck should shut down and Should cancel the timer mode that it sounds like it is in.

    Hope this helps. JAc

  2. ok well I got my lowering kit in and i have one lil question about the leafs. I got the 3 inch leafs. on the top of the leafs there are 2 blocks it looks like and i was wondering is thoes were for adjustments? I know they lower the truck 3.5" is that how they come or will i need to adjust them a bit. Im trying to keep the install as easy as I can. Is there anything to watch out for with these?

They are to be used for if you dont want to go so low you can install them on the bottom of the leaf springs. If you dont install any of them I beleive the truck will have a reverse rake Stance. I thinking i put 1 or both on the bottom. I cant remember. Also pull ur bump stops off the bracket and intstall them directly on the frame. Will ride so much better

  3. Well, my brother just picked up a TBSS and I really like it. Serious power with the avalibility to haul 2 kids in car seats and groceries. The TBSS gets my vote, however the Sierra Denali is VERY nice. Either way you choose, you cant go wrong. BTW he picked it up for 23k with 21k miles on 06 fully loaded so its not a bad price either.

Yeah I found a blue one 07 15K miles 3SS package fully loaded except the nav and dvd system. There asking 25 for it.

A sierra denali would get my vote. You can haul 2 kids w/car seats whit no problem plus you have a bed in the back to haul other stuff.

Im leaning towards the Denali. I do miss have a truck and could use the camaro as the go fast car. Also have the ability to pulloff the rims, Dvd System, and billet grill and clear lights off mu yukon denali and save me some mod money. Found a 05 or 06 cant remember with 25K miles. Loaded except dvd system and nav but no biggie. There asking 27K

  4. Well Im looking into selling my Denali and picking up and Camaro SS 98-02 model. I'm also looking into trading in My TL and either picking up a TBSS or Sierra Denali. Im stuck I dont know what to get. The only problem is that I have 2 kids still in car seat and Think that the TBSS might be a little too small. There awesome and fun to drive but I also miss having a truck. The SSS was considered but back seat too small for 2 kids so Im looking into a Sierra denali. 2005-06 Crew Cab model...The good thing is that the aftermarket parts on the Yukon denali would swap over to the Sierra Denali. Pls give me ur thoughts. I know some of you have these vehicles. Thanks JAc

  5. Do a search on this forum, There was a memeber named TurbochargedBerserker Who did the change out. He dont come on here much but look through his old treads. Its wont be to bad, Need a 2wd tail output shaft and a new drive shaft. I dont think you have to mess with the electronics. There no electronics on the front diff or transfer case. I looking to do something similar on my Denali... Jac

  6. Thanks everyone. I will post up some pictures when I download them.

I wish I would have had your warning about the Habu Sake a few days earlier. We went out to the Anchor Inn and I had 5 of them. Damn, I was hurting the next day.

I know how bad they hurt. I got a bottle back here with me and share it with some buddies on special ociasions. 2-3 shots and ur still hurting... Also try it mixed with green tea. Taste real good.

Also if you get near Kadena airbase try out Yoshi Hachi restraunt and get some blow fish. Best Sushi I had. Heres a link about his place http://www.japanupdate.com/?id=4345

  7. Have fun over there, I was there from jun to dec. I was mainly at kadena airbase. Lots of fun things and nice bars there. Stay safe and try some habu Sake if you can. But beware dont do more that 3. Trust me on that. Its hurts the next day.

  8. ive had it many times. last time i bought it was new years and close to 220 a bottle

    its very smooth,

comparing it to the silver its very smooth , even though the silver is a decent tequila .

i usually only drink it for special ocasions , i say try it and decide for yourself.

Thats what I wanted it for special ocasions. I saw it today at a liquor store for 155 a bottle. The silver taste smooth to me. Maybe I will have to splurge and get me a bottle. Thanks for the info.
