  1. Thanks good for the postive input. I orginally bought the tl for my wife, now she drives the denali more than anything. She said once the TL is sold I can buy anything I want. hummmm Been looking for a used Z06. Hopefully i can get a good detail on it and get it sold. JAc

  2. is that an ASPEC TL??

It has ASPEC parts on it, but dont have the ASpec Suspension. Didnt like there setup for the suspension. Decided i wanted to do h&r drop springs with some koni struts.

I think it's a Type S not sure though. I have a TL also, they are great cars. How about some more info on the rice burner, I'm not prejudice. Are those 17"s? Does it have an aftermarket body kit? Sharp car!

Its not a type S, Its a 04 Tl with the nav. I added Type S tail lights and smoked side markers. The body kit is a ASPEC kit for acura. The only other real thing i did was cheanged the exhuast resonator to a dynomax. Rims are a staggart setup 19X8.5 up front with 235/35/19, and 19x9.5 with 265/30/19. other than that tinted windows and a viper alarm.

  3. I am thinking I should have gone to VP30. The sun looks good. I still have snow. The truck is covered with salt

From what im hearing 30 aint shore duty either, Work your duty weekend, 10 hrs days at a min. Could be better could be worse. Sunny and nice and warm most of the times. Been wearing Shorts almost everyday since i been here.

  4. I hope you like FL. I am getting settled in IL. I still have all the boxes from the movers.

Yeah loving it down here. i had my boxes for a while too till I got rid of a bunch of them. post a Craigslist ad and someone will come and get them.

  5. Well Finally getting settle in Florida. Started cleaning out the cars and put on some of the parts waiting to be installed. heres some pics. Couple of the Denali, and the TL. I got on order a magnaflow for the Denali and looking to lower it in the next month or so. Then It will be done.

  6. like california only hotter and more humididty....the illegals are even more f*cking retarded over here, and they ALL have a drivers liscense

Yeah its hotter and more humid, But i lived in Cali for 20 yrs of my life North and south. I can say one thing Cali got more laws than they know what to do with.

  7. where can i find this stuff. Basically what I want is a remote start alarm system, and anything I need to have the alarm sound if someone is getting too close.

U can get most of it off ebay pretty cheap, but the install is going to cost you. If you was top of the line I would with the

    Viper 5900 Alarm/Remote Start

Field Disturbance (Radar) Sensor Vehicle Intrusion Sensor (508D)*

Back-up Battery System Vehicle Battery Disconnect Sensor (520T)*

Digital Tilt Sensor Extra Sensory Protection (507M)*

Those i would recommend at a min. You Will Also have to buy a bypass box for the remote start. It just depends on what you want to spend. The big problem is if you dont buy it from a DEI authorize shop and have them install it you most likely wont get the warrenty that comes with the unit.

Here is a link of the alarm http://www.viper.com/Products/Product.aspx?ProductID=103 and the adds ons http://www.viper.com/Products/Accessories.aspx

  9. OKAY, before install rear was 1.5" higher than front.after install rear was .75" lower. after moving the 2 plates from the top to the bottom of the leaf, the rear is 1" higher than the front. so as of now it turned out to be about a 2/2.5 drop. if i calculate right , if you put 1 plate on the bottom and left 1 on top the truck would be almost exactly level. since i stripped out the pins that allign the individual leaves together, i might try that set up when i get new pins, just to see. but i think i need to leave it a little higher in back because i haul a motorcycle pretty regular. again fellas thanks for all the input.

I would leave the back a little higher if you haul anything. I did the belltech shocks and were happy with them. Good luck. JAc

  10. "Probally wont work since the Xm was never in ur name. If u read the post 18 it has the link. I seen some one try it with new service and xm caught on stating they never had service from them. Its up to u."

D'OH! I just got my truck Sunday and was hoping to get into XM but I guess I'll have to wait to see what deals they have sometime down the road. I'll probably hold off until I install the aftermarket nav anyway.

that Deal has been around for 3 yrs that i know of. Its the cheapest I seen it for a renewal. Just keep the link handy. Jac
