  1. I prefer the look of a stocker over the rollpan. Now on my old 2000, that was a different story. I wanted one, but never got it.
  2. Well, deal feel through on the other one so I'm back in the market. Looking for a TBTC from an I6 . Let me know what you got.
  3. Ummm...I feel bad that your 1/8th mile mph is almost the same as my 1/4 mile LOLOLOL. Time to get some more mods.
  4. Ok, so what numbers do I need for the trans cooler? What GVW, what BTU rating etc? I'm calling my trans guy tomorrow to tell him what I want.
  5. O.K. so I'm pulling the trigger on the TBTC and figured while its being installed, I would go ahead and get a trans cooler since its a higher stall. Question is, how large of a cooler should I go? What should the trans temp be after the cooler is installed ? How much am I looking at for a selected size cooler? BTW, I'm sure this is important, I live in South Florida and it gets into the mid 90's in the day/afternoon when driving. Thanks
  6. Man, I dont know about you guys, but when I see the parts everyday I am soooo ready to get them installed, especially cause they are performance parts and I know the truck will be that much faster.
  7. Well, as I looked in the garage for something today, I noticed my parts pile was getting larger and taking up more room. Heres my list of inventory waiting to be installed (more on the way). 1) Cleared Headlights/DRL'S with smoked markers 2) Underdrive pulley set w/ belts 3) 160* Thermo 4) Oil pressure sending unit for the gauges 5) Trailblazer converter (Being shipped) 6) Pacesetter LT'S (Getting ready to order in a week or so) 7) LS1 Fans/LS1 harness ( Getting ready to order in a couple weeks) So , lets hear what you guys got that is waiting to be installed
  8. OOPS, didnt even realize he was an 05. My bad, as said before by Out2win, Yes, you already HAVE efans so no need to switch.
  9. Well, update on the converter situation. Recieved a pm from a guy on pt.net that is selling a tbtc for CHEAP CHEAP. I got quoted by my trans guy for install/fluid change/flush & trans cooler install for $400 . All together, I will have a tbtc, new fluids/flushed & trans cooler for under $500. So I'm gonna jump on it monday morning.
  10. Yes, efans are electric fans. They replace the stock crank/clutch fan which frees up power (est 17% I believe). E fans come in different systems, you have efans you can use from an LS1, 05+ efans and the new product from Mr P and Sprayed 99 with their electric fans.
  11. That explains why I did not have a pm returned. THanks
  12. Dads got a place in Greenwood and another in Abbeville/Anderson area.
  13. I believe we tried this once before but not sure of the results. We also tried a public service sub forum for Firefighters/Police as well. I personally think its a great idea.
  14. Sadly enough, I think Daddy WILL wind up buying another one.
  15. Was on the way home from S.C. around the Jax area and saw these 4 cars blow by me all with early 20's aged girls in them. You could obviously tell they were stuck up biatches with their daddys $ or boyfriends credit card. Heres what they were driving. 1) Mazeratti (sp) 2) Porsche Cayenne 3) c6 BRIGHT PINK with HRE PINK RIMS 4) BMW 645 I with chrome rims and the top down with some biatch with her cowboy hat on. This was about 11am. They were weaving all over the road in G.A. and cutting ppl off doing about 90-100 mph. Sure enough, we get to Jax and its pouring rain around 12-1pm. Well, St Johns County Fire Rescue is on scene with about 5 troopers and whatta ya know...a Bright Piink C6 into the guard rail in the rain. Front end ripped apart, windows blown out and convertible ripped (probably due to extrication of St Johns Fire Rescue) Hood, bumper 2 rims and tires in the middle of the road. Heres the pic from my gf's phone.
  16. DOS for engles.... Dont even get me started on that topic.....
  17. My advice to anyone buying a vehicle (especially a large truck/suv with a larger disp engine and bad mpg) I Would say you need to ABSOLUTLEY get them to the LOWEST DOLLAR POSSIBLE. If you dont buy the vehicle, nobody will, throw the dealer that one. You are the one buying the vehicle, so pay what you want to pay.
  18. I dont know the whole story about you, but 26's on an SSS is reason enough for me to agree with what the other members are saying.
  19. Does he have 26's on his SSS?
  20. How much do you want for the cleared lights? Just the headlights or headlights and drl's?
  21. Ya, I checked it out man. Thanks alot. My one question that has not been answered was how does it feel driving with an aftermarket stall? I'm meaning, the feeling when you give it normal acceleration from a stop... does it feel like its slipping until it gets to its desired rpms to get your truck moving? I REALLY need to get a ride in someones truck so I can feel the difference for myself.
  22. Damn man, welcome to the club..mine blew due to a leaking seal which in turn burned up the bands and I as well had NO gears. Try coasting down a .5 mile road with a 55 speed limit (everyone does 70-75) going 20 with your flashers on and no shoulder.
  23. Ya, that TBSS is nasty. The only specs on the cam I know about are in the vid. Its H/C I know that.
