  1. Thats my thought exactly. Also thought of being a corpsman for the navy. Pretty much a field paramedic or field doctor.
  2. Yep, I almost did the same thing. Except I was going from Fire Rescue to the Marine Corps. I was going back and forth with recruiters on a weekly basis, took the ASVAB and my score was high enough to put me in my desired MOS of 0741 Aricraft/Aviation Fire Rescue. I know its not too late to join seeing as how I am still young, but I'll always have that thought in the back of my mind.
  3. The new thing for construction companies in South Florida is "tilt wall construction". Walls are already assembled and brought in via 18 wheeler. These also pose a large threat to emergency crews working inside a building. I've seen a complete warehouse complex complete in construction be assembled in 2 days. Pretty scary. Not quite as bad as the old style northern wood homes, but it does pose quite a bad possibility for collapse under stress.
  4. All right, thanks guys !!! I've already got a birthday present for myself waiting to be shipped. Its a brand new TBTC !!!
  5. I've been listening to alot of Kid Rock lately (his old stuff) . Also picked up a new song from Crossin Dixon called - I love my old bird dog. Heres the link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b7zdSe4Kf24. When I run, I listen to U.S. Army Airborne Run to Cadence vol 2
  6. I know packjh has a black on black setup with the same rims I do (In black of course).
  7. Thanks for the heads up Mr P., can I ask if the dayco product is reputable or should I go with the yank? I'm not looking to spend alot so what would your reccomendations be for the best bang for your buck/ safe and reputable converter. I chose the TBTC cause they are relativley inexpensive compared to a yank or PI (400+) and a TBTC can be had for $150 new but I need to know what brand to go with. Thanks
  8. Got a line on a new TBTC and just wondering what I should be expecting to pay.
  9. I've brought in a couple patients with kidney stones and boy oh boy.. it even sounded painful. Then my dad had one and it literally brought him to his knees it hurt so bad. He went in to the E.R. at 4am and the charge nurse told him that she had a couple and that they hurt worse than delivering a child. Wish you a quick recoverey.
  10. O.K. so lately I have been checking out the threads related to drops. I have noticed that with the 22's now, the truck sits higher and is in need of a drop. I have been looking at the stance from a 2/2 drop and really like the stance. I dont want to go too low so I think a 2/2 is just right from the pics I've seen. So, what company/brand/components should I go with on my drop? Also, what should I be looking to spend (ballpark) for parts/components as well as install. Thanks for any light you guys can shed on this topic.
  11. Thanks KTJ, but that first one was too cheesy for me. The second one did not come up. If I'm gonna do it, I want it to look professional. If I cannot find anything, I'm going to contact Shopman and see if he will do a group buy. Would anyone be interested?
  12. My neighbor brought up a good suggestion today after I painted my stock grille black to match the truck. As I was putting back the bowtie, he said I should look into an American Flag bowtie for the grille with an SS in the middle. So has anyone ever seen these ? If not, I wonder if Shopman would be interested in making these. Basiclly I'm looking for the bowtie to be the American Flag with the SS symbol on the face. I'm gonna search around to try and find something. *EDIT* I just looked on Ebay and all I could find was real cheezy stick on decals. I'd be willing to to shell out the $ for a good product such as Shopmans bowties.
  13. Wow man, that really sucks. I suggest this becomes a sticky, this is important material. After my girls car was broken into and purse was stolen, I have been paranoid and this is good info.
  14. I'm not gonna lie, I thought this was a thread about you having a Urinary Tract Infection ( UTI) LOLOL.
  15. Ummm... in the Dirty South as his sn reflects.
  16. Just had my question answered. Thanks guys. i'll be taping it off tonight and if I like the outcome, I might sell the billet pieces.
  17. Nevermind guys, I just had my question answered on another site. They said just tape off the grille shell which you dont want to paint. Thanks anyways.
  18. IS this really a sticky? Mod Power FTW LOL
  19. Ok, right now I have the entire grille shell, headlights and billet grille off the truck and sitting in the garage. I did this because I am planning on painting the stock mesh grille on the SS grille. Problem I have run into is removing the stock mesh grille from the grille shell itself. There are little tabs on the inside of the grille that appear to be holding the 2 pieces together. I need to know how to remove the stock grille from the grille shell. Heres pics to show what I'm talking about. Any help would be appreciated since I need to have her back on by Thursday. Thanks Not the tab in the middle, but the 2 above and below it are the ones that I need to get off. This is on the bottom of the grille (same tabs as rest of grille, just a different shot)

  21. I personally REALLY like your current setup, it looks awesome. If anything, I would say buy these new set of rims/ tires then mount em and put em up for sale. Bottom line is if you dont like em, your buying em for a good price so just turn around and sell em or possibly make money on em. If you like the way they look mounted, take pics, post em up and see what you like. Bottom line is its up to you. The day I mounted my rims, I wanted to sell them within 2 hrs of mounting but they grew on me and I love em now.
  22. All right, good list you guys got goin on . Keep the thread updated as you go.
