OH NO!!! This is an all too haunting topic for me. The same thing happened to me last weekend. I installed the corvette 2nd gear servo and exacpt same thing to a TEE happened after reassembling it. Heres what it is. You need to take apart the servo and look at your flat plastic snap rings. I WILL GUARANTEE 100% that it is one of these that is causing it. Mine happened to be on the 2nd gear piston. You should be able to see how chewed up the snap ring is and just get another one from a local auto store however I was not able to so I had to search high and low and not even the dealer had them!!! I had to go into a special tranny shop and buy 2 and re install them. Excellent Mr P, thank you for clearing that up. As for the accumulator, when I bought the kit, the guy included the accumulator piston and I also got a metal seperator plate. I will be sure to let him know of the 2 washers in the 2nd accumulator cup

Well I just installed a vette servo in my trans this weekend(lets not even talk about the problems EERRRRRR). Anyways I'm just looking over the Transgo HD2 instructions and on the first page and it is all servo disassembling/assembling. Well since I already did the vette servo, do I still need to do this or what? The only difference I can see is they are adding metal spacers and 2 gold bands. From what I'm reading its saying Spacers: Crisp- use 1 Very Firm- use 2 Full race- use 3. Another difference I can see is it says remove and sicard the original springs. Seeing as how I just completed the vette servo is it necessary to do this part? To me it looks as though it will still need to be done even though I've already done the vette servo because of the spacers part of entering 2 spacers as most people do. I am not going to be installing the Transgo so if there is anything I need to tell the installer before he does it, your help would be greatly appreciated before Saturday morning. Thanks guys

I'd say get the 3 vent inserts for the bottom and it would change the look alot. Also since you have rims, the truck is going to look great with the 2" drop. Looks good man.

HAHA,yep dont quite have the problems you were having however, I did have one hell of a weekend over something as simple as a vette servo install. Get to it about 3pm Saturday start taking it apart, follow directions to a tee and cant get the ****ing e ring off the spring and washer. I finally get so pissed and just muscled it and it came off. Go through the motions of what I thought was an hr project at the most and get it back together @ 8pm. Take it for a test drive. 1st gear winds out to 4k then shifts into 3rd and falls on its face ****! Wait till Sun morn and diagnose the problem. Snap ring fell off the 1st piece in the servo. Put it back on and put it back together for the 2nd time. Take it for a test drive, same thing. ****!! Take it apart for the 4th time and discover its a smaller snap ring. Well of course the 20 parts stores I call dont have em so I wind up getting a rubber o ring and try and make it work. Now the servo wolnt compress because the oring it too thick. Run out and get 2 others, same thing. Call everywhere and GM parts isnt open Sundays. I wait till 7am this morning and go directly to the dealer. Dealer says we dont have em, they can be here by Thurs(need to get to school @ 11am this morning) Get led on a wild goose chase for another 2 hrs and 4 shops dont have em. FInally call a place and they have em(wind up paying more for the snap rings than the servo itself). Get under the truck and now the metal snap ring wolnt go in because the groove isnt accessible. Spend 30mins down there and finally get it. I got blisters on all my fingers, a pissed off attitude and my old man even wrenched under there and got burned on the cat because he was soo pissed that he didnt wanna wait to help reinstall. Finally got it this morning and DAMN am I glad that over. Now the shift kit install is being left to the pros next weekend. END RANT

I cant see the one you posted, but If this is the same one I have its incredible how fast those are. I had no idea they were that fast until I saw this. On the last straight away where the F1 flies by all of em is SOOOOO awesome.

Yes, if you're looking for the loudest possible outa your exhaust, go with the cutouts. However, If you dont decide to go that route, get em dumped aka turndowns. Streatsboy turned me on to that setup and I honestly thought it was too loud but then I grew to love it. BTW, your neighbors will love it too. And that 1-2 shift, mine really pop, it sounds awesome

Ya, that sounds good. I was thinking more north of you because we would have the option to hit Moroso. I know you guys have an 1/8th down there but once you've ran on a 1/4, going to an 1/8 is no fun. I think we should do a get together at moroso then hit the track. I noticed alot of guys in South Florida have not seen this thread yet maybe because its tucked all the way in here but I'll start gettin the word out for around December or january with some better temps. Also, do you have any more info on the Festival Flea Market meet? I'm about 10 mins away from that (if your talking about the Coconut Creek one) I Would be down for that.
