I'm going to be installing my 5peice carriage works this weekend and was wondering if I could spray my billet grille black and what would it look like. I've seen the ones you can buy already painted black and they look really good. I was planning on painting the stock grille behind it but now I thought about this. Is this a good idea or not, will the spray paint chip or should I just leave it the regular billet.

The previous owner was a heavy smoker so the dealer just tossed the mats. Seeing if anyone has stock floormats that have the SS on them, I'm looking at new ones also from LLoyds & stylin

Hey Dylan, all of your work I have seen and all the tips/products/applications etc made me want to get more into detailing to keep my black truck looking its best. Thats why I decided to throw this topic around and see what the others thought. I visit the GMFS forum regularly and read as much as I can on the detailing section. Anyways, hope it goes through and the mods decide to make it a section or at least a sticky

Anyway, Yes I totally think we should have a detailing section because I always like to learn more things on detailing and we should have some expert opinions from guys on here who are professional detailers(Dylan).

Well on GMFS they have a section dedicated to detailing which I really like. I didnt know where to put this so I stuck it in here because I know alot of people browse in this section. I vote we start a full section dedicated to detailing and links to getailing site with reviews etc.

I thought it was 80% ...thats alot of people man. Florida is just one of those states that Fire and Medical are all put together and the reason were all mostly paid down here is because we run Fire and Rescue calls (70% of our population in Fl is retired people) . So how many of you guys are Vollies in here ? Were all paid down here, the closest volunteer dept is like NW Florida 5hrs away and 1 very small local dept around here.

MAN, that must have been one scary ride, not having control of your vehicle or not ebing able to stop it would be the worst feeling in the world I bet. So did you make it out ok or were you injured, if you were uninjured, you should consider yourself VERY lucky. You could have died or been seriously injured and be thankful that you were the only one in the vehicle and nobody else got hurt. Like stated prior, that should be a lawsuit for sure. After almost a week, I LOVE IT . I got used to the sound and I seriously cant get enough of it. Everyone that hears the trucks is in love with the sound. Great setup and great sound IMO, then again, some people cant deal with the noise, I LOVE IT though.

Na, those g35's arent that fast. I took down 2 in my 00 5.3 with some bolt ons, that is unless they have seriously beefed them up from the 04 models or unless hes not stock. With the mods you have, you'll be fine

I honestly think that I believe its soo loud because of the in cab noise. My neighbor told me it wasnt that bad actually, but when your inside different story, dont ge tme wong, it is also loud on the outside, just not quite as loud as the inside

Ya, my neighbors are all pretty cool except for this bitch across the street and shes not even that bad. My neighbor has a 94 5.0 full boltons and a cam, hes a ricer at heart but got lucky and got a good deal on this. Anyways, this kid pulls in at 3am and just ****n revs the shit to like 5grand like 3 or 4 times. Even my girlfriend says she hears it in the am. I now just coast from the stop sign in the entrance to my driveway and if I have to ill give it a little gas.

So tonight around 9 I go to pick something up from a friends house and this 350z totally cuts me off the proceeds to practicly drift around the corner. I got a little upset at the fact this guy was a tool and decided to get next to him, well to my suprise, hes floring it now, anyways, caught up to him from about 3-4 cars back then had a car on him at 80 and the exhaust was SCREAMIN the whole time, for sure if there were cops aroud I would have been pulled over. I really dont like running the risk of it being that noticeable if I do decide to play around. Guess I'll have to keep it to a serious minimum when messing with other cars. OR I'll have to look into a quieter setup.
