  1. got this from Zippy a while back all depends on your mods etc...I run a 2.8 and only see about 7.5-8#'s

    Pulley size -Belt Size -Boost psi.(apx.) - Goodyear# - Gates#

    2.75" Pulley = 111.0 " Belt = 9 to 10 psi. - P/N=4061110 - P/N=K061110

    2.8" Pulley = 111.0 " Belt = 8.5 to 9 psi - P/N=4061110 - P/N=K061110

    2.9" Pulley = 111.5 " Belt = 7.5 to 8 psi. - P/N=4061115 - P/N=K061115

    3.0" Pulley = 111.5 " Belt = 7.0-7.5 psi. - P/N=4061115 - P/N=K061115

    3.1" Pulley = 112.0 " Belt = ---6--- psi. - P/N=4061120 - P/N=K061120

    3.3" Pulley = 112.0 " Belt = 5 to 6.5 psi. - P/N = 4061120 - P/N=K061120

Great info, just what I was looking for

  2. i'm assuming you had the tank out to replace the fuel pump when you did your Radix install. double check all your evap lines at the tank, and motor. basically whats happening is the pcm is seeing a minor evap leak, and for some reason on these trucks they'll display that tighten gas cap message instead of setting an evap code, for a while anyways. (po442,446,455,ect.) its probably something minor like a line not plugged on all the way.

Yes your right, the tank was dropped. Ill check the evap lines. Thanks for the help.

  3. Ever since I got the radix installed, about once a day after about 10 minutes of driving I get a chime/message to tighten the fuel cap. Of course the first few times I checked the cap and all was tight. I just ignore it now as it only does it in the first 10 min of driving, though I figured Id ask see if or how I could remedy it.

Another issue I have, again right after the radix install, is my heater wont get hot unless I turn the heat up to 90 deg, then it gets too hot. Anything lower than 90 deg the air is cold  Any ideas?

    Thanks for the help!

  4. That would be great Idaho! I think you'd probably win the "Long Distance Award"...oh wait, we don't have one! But hey, what could be better than letting the SS stretch its legs out on I-90! :driving:

Now come on Eastern Washington SS'er's, if Idaho can come all the way from there....surely you can drive a measly 2+- hrs!

I'll be working that weekend, the following weekend we have a good size car show (easily 50 plus cars), carnival, parade, etc, its our towns big bash/spring festival.

We definatley need to have another GTG on this side of the mountains, wheather is getting super nice (sunny about 60ish today). Last time we had a gtg I forgot about the little car museum we have, its a must see has about 25 to 30 cars.

  5. If you're in the 10.x range through the first two gears and then notice a bog in third, it could be cat converter protection kicking in, richening you up even further. Normally, you wouldn't feel this, as it would still leave you in the "optimal" AFR range for best power. However if you're starting out in the 10s, it'd drop you into the 9s and be a noticable drop.

Ya I'm thinking this may be the issue. My A/F gauge only reads 10.0 so Im lower than that, I read a 10.0 even when at 1/2 to WOT throttle. I've got another leaner tune coming, should be here this week

On and now my engine light is on, throwing cat code for loss of efficiency or something like that?

  6. That sucks man, hopefully everythiong works out and make that MTF PAY!!! On the other hand, good excuse to get a role pan

Something similair happened to me a couple yrs ago although the lady left a note on my windshield with her name and number  There are still some decent people in the world

  7. I've got the x-link and am wanting to install it with my LS2 90mm TB. The x-link I have only has one pink wire, Torque Rush says to connect the pink wire to a 5 volt source. Anyone know where the closest source would be?

    Thanks!

  8. Doing the TBSS intake swap has shown to be a nice gain although I don't know why you'd go through all that trouble to swap intakes and not put on the bigger throttle body. That's one of the biggest gains from the swap is going from a 78mm throttle body to a 90mm.

What sort of gains could one expect from just adding an LS2 TB and x-link?

  9. I've got a tbtc currently and recently installed a radix. My question to all you with tbtc (and those who are also radix'd) did you notice a difference on the top end? Good or bad? Did your trap speeds increase or decrease. With my tbtc (and LT's) my 60ft improved from a 2.1 to a 2.01, et's from a 14.39 to 14.15, but traps stayed even at 95mph. Now that Im blown, 1st and 2nd gear pull nice and falls flat in 3rd, convertor is unlocked as well?

When I say fall flat, I mean once in third gear I could not pull away from a 5.3L 2wd truck running 14.1's, he wasnt gaining but still, wtf? Any ideas?

  10. i saw a black Z71 "55" the other day. yup. the badges were upside down and the Z71 decals were on the bed sides.... :wtf: Then there was the Caterpillar Equipment yellow sportside with black rally stripes and custom "SS"s I saw yesterday. or the forest green Avalanche with giant stainless "SS" badges.

Neither top the F250 "SS" I saw over the summer. :nonod:

There's a black Z71 "55" running around my neck of the woods also :puke: everytime I see it just makes me laugh...Im sure they dont have a clue. Then again their probably laughing at me cause their thinking my badges are upside down
