Looks like a good match alright, I'm going to be playing the color guessing game myself when I get home. Mine are black right now on an Arrival Blue SS and I want them back to silver especially since I have silver stripes. Im going to paint the stripes on and re-do my inlets to silver. Looking good!

Haha funny you mentioned that cause when im stateside now i reside in So Cal and I see tons of lifted trucks but street wheels and even 2wd!!! Comin from Tennessee I see jacked up trucks and think off road but these people jack them up to be bro-dozers and cruise the mean streats with them in style rather than hit the trails etc... Im thinkin about trading in my lifted jeep for a lifted D-max out here since the trails aint tight in So Cal like they were in Tennessee and I can actually play with the big truck... jeep will be tough to let go though cause its fun climbing around in the desert with, but i have other dirt toys for that too! Oh well didnt mean to jack the thread but I may be one of those jacked up trucks in So Cal soon!

I'm just gonna retire at 30, so only about 5 1/2 years. HAHA yeah right! I'm still way way to early in the game to plan a date but I've had my retirement fund start for a few years now so I don't care what happens with social security cause I aint gonna need it! I just wish we could opt out before I pay in to it forever and never see that money again, even though it is promised back HA heard that before!!!

Yeah my biggest problem is the "sit there and listen" haha yeah that usually doesn't go over to well! I'm usually a really nice person and try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt but if you come at me steaming right away I'm a real smart-a $ $. Oh well, I love people and the idea of community in general but I really try to avoid them when I can... nobody usually cares what I'm doing off-road or at the track so thats the only public appearances I try to make

Yeah a D-max is on my list also! I love the way the SS looks towing the toys to the playground haha but man I want the SS to be a shiny garage project and a D-max would fill the gap perfectly plus allow me to get a big toyhauler Anyways thats a great find man, I need that same thing in 4wd which means, like others have said, hard to find GOLD!

Yup that is one sweet truck but I can't seem to find the grill option let alone the stripes and I've decided that since I can't get that exact truck without really searching for maybe the dealer that gets the actually pace truck then I'm just gonna buy a diesel or wait until the 6.2L version comes out probably next year, once I found out that so far only the 5.3L seems to be the option I think that pretty much seals the deal that I'll wait for at least the bigger motor if not the new body style HD with a duramax. It was a good thought but I reckon the jeep stays for now!

Yeah its official, if that paint scheme is offered I think the jeep is getting traded in for another Silverado! It will look even better in my driveway after the SS is repainted with larger stripes, not quite the size of those but I'm changing them up a little bit and moving away from the decals.

You know how to make a CLEAN ride my friend, that is one truck I hope to see when I get back to the US and finally make a Cali meet up.

good lil DD, you may get lucky and find a red hood that will fit at the junkyard for pretty cheap too

Thats what im thinkin! I can't stop looking at it... and that is an older picture of my SS and I can't stop looking at it side by side with that new one!!! My bank account is in trouble when i get home cause I may just have to have that truck!!! My jeep is pretty sweet though, it will be hard to let go. I think chevy is trying to target me with this new truck, haha the paint scheme and the fact it is at a NASCAR race just screams my name... i cant get rid of the SS but maybe I'll trade another vehicle I have in on it although I really want a diesel next! Anyways here is what i mean: My SS is the first pic... and they 2014 Silverado is obviously the second one I think they designed after mine (not really, but its a funny thought that my parents had when they saw this beauty)..... this is def the BEST lookin 2014 I have seen and it has painted bumpers like our SS trucks!!! I'm even feelin good about those wheels on it, I'm in trouble boys cause looks like I'll be getting a 2014 to match the SS, dont know if i wanna trade in my awesome 4dr jeep Rubi for it but im seriously considering it!!!!!

Yeah guys our trucks, as we have seen time and time again, are just so dang sexy that they are a HUGE target. Speaking of target, I got plenty of things that go boom if we have to do some huntin when i get back to the states

makes me sick.... i do think that thing is a salvageable truck though that could be a hell of a deal if you got it for the right price and had the time and money for a COMPLETE overhaul... please somebody save that poor innocent truck that survived a 150K with some tool bag!!!

That being said, I think we need to keep our heads up about the next chevys to come. If you guys have been watching, their cars are really jumping out leaps and bounds from where they were (new malibu, SS the car, c7, new impala even looks sweet) and I think the truck line is still to come. I know they just re-did the trucks to, but I've got a good feeling we will see some special editions soon. Also that same website had an article about the new Callaway Silverado you guys may wanna check out, I may start another thread for it if i get time since it kinda goes with this site more and it looks pretty clean.

Awesome haha we should all do that, not sell but post ridiculous prices and start a fake SS boom kinda like all the "professionals" do with our housing market, etc. haha and shoot one of us may get lucky and someone take it, I wouldnt sell mine but id fine someone else's truck and buy it just to sell it to um lets do this!!!
