Thanks, I appreciate your opinion. From the sounds of things I probably wouldnt even hear them. Thanks Dan, I wondered if they would crack just like the drilled slotted ones but I guess anytime you remove metal you make can them weaker. My Baers cracked between quite a few of the holes and in a few places went all the way up to the outer edge of the rotor, something that is not covered under warranty.

I have a stock set that I would prefer to sell as a set. I'm not sure how much to ask so make me a fair offer.

OK, I'm tired of my drilled/sloted rotors cracking so its time for a change. I've been thinking about going with the EBC's but I'm not sure which ones I should get. According to EBC because I haul my 21 foot bass boat I would be better off getting the Sport Rotors for better stopping power but I've heard that they make quite a bit of noise. Just how loud do they get? Would I do OK with the USR's? Thanks

OK, I finally got all of my NASCAR diecast categorized and ready for sale. As it turns out I have about 200 total pieces, some that are pretty rare, that Im going to put up for sale. My collection is mostly Action Performance Diecast with some Racing Champions and a few Winners Circle items. I have a few 1:18, quite a few 1:24, a few 1:32 and quite a few 1:64 scale. For the first 3 years I took both the Silverado and Monte Carlo to my dealer because they gave me free LOF's for purchasing from them, then I did them myself. A little while back I got cards for both the truck and Monte Carlo for 8 free LOF's each so I've been taking them back to them, cant beat free. Of course I had to provide my own Mobile 1 but thats OK by me.

As to the stereo, I ordered a brand new, OEM replacement CD drive, just the drive and will be replacing just it. According to the site I purchased it from, seeing how I'll be using my stock HU and just replacing the drive, I wont have to reprogram the radio.

I’m in the process of replacing my defective stock head unit with either an after market or just another stock one. While this may seem like a stupid question I’m a little confused if I have the Bose system or just the Bose speakers. My speakers do have the Bose label but I can’t seem to locate the under console amp. I’ve had a few different places tell me different things. Some say that seeing how my HU does not say Bose I don’t have it but others say that seeing how the speakers say Bose then I do have it and the amp is just well hidden. So before I can order a replacement system I need to know what I actually have. Here are the RPO codes generated from a GM Vehicle Inquiry System, Vehicle Build Sheet based on my VIN. UB1: RADIO AM/FM STEREO W/CD, CASSETTE AND BOSE SPEAKER SYSTEM. UQ7: BOSE SPEAKER SYSTEM As you can see, nowhere does it say Bose HU or amp. Help guys!

So the XM is just a module? Does that mean if I went with an after market HU I'd just hook up the module already in my truck and XM would work, as long as the new HU is Sattilite capable?
