  1. It has the single CD with cassette player, which I've never used. It also has Bose, XM and On Star runs through it
  2. Can you tell me anything more about your Stereo? Any pictures? How much? You can email me at mike@BassNMan dot c0m Also, where in CA are you?
  3. OK, I know alot of you have replaced their stock head units with something better and have your stocker laying around collecting dust. If you have one that works and will fit my 2005 with Bose, On Star, XM etc. that your willing to let go for a good price I might be interested in purchasing it from you. Let me know what you have and how much you want for it.
  4. Thanks, any suggestions where I can pickup a good used stock deck for that price?
  5. Thanks guys. BTW, I just added my truck to the garage but truthfully, its not "All That" compared to alot of trucks here
  6. Thanks for the reply. What I'm looking for is just something basic. One that's decent, plays CD's, has XM and bluetooth would be nice but not really needed. As long as I can keep my On Star and steering wheel controls I'll be happy.
  7. FYI, Bass Tackle Depot, a page sponsor, is having a 20% off labor day sale, time to stock up. Bass Tackle Depot
  8. minus the stupid part. Thats what I'm running on my side windows and I have Limo on everything behing them.
  9. Bag is brand new with tags removed. As any camera person knows, you buy several different ones until you find the right one. For me, this was not the right one. Holds 2 Pro SLR’s, 5-6 lenses (up to 80-200mm f/2.8), pro flash, accessories, film and laptop, I’m not sure which size but the Notebook Compartment Inner Dimensions are 13.8W X 1.6D X 9.5H in From the Lowepro website: Created for photojournalists and news photographers, the Stealth Reporter D550 AW is designed to withstand the elements while providing quick access to lenses and digital accessories. Although the Stealth Reporter D550 AW was designed to be light weight, it's still heavy on features and durability. Durable ballistic nylons, high density closed cell foams, deluxe shoulder strap, metal hardware and an All Weather Cover™ ensure that this is one tough bag. After all, the last thing you need to worry about is your camera equipment. Lowepro - Stealth Reporter D550 AW Retails price is $190.00 although it can be found for lower prices. I’m asking $100.00 shipped or best offer. Here's a couple pictures. I'll also be including the Lowepro Filter Case and Memory Wallet seen in the picture.
  10. OK guys, my stock CD player finally bit the dust so I'm looking to replace it. I'm not looking for anything super fancy, just a unit that is decent. What do you suggest? FYI, have the Bose system with XM and I want to keep my XM as well as all door chimes and steering wheel controls including On Star. Please include any adaptors that I might need. Thanks all!
  11. Hey guys, its been awhile since I've hung out here, hows everyone? Any of the old crowd still around? I'll try and check in more often.
  12. It also depends on the boat trailer wires. Does it have the 4 or 5 pin flat connector? I know my older Champion had the standard 4 pin flat but my new Champion has the 5 pin flat. The only difference between the 2 is the 5 pin adds an extra wire that disables the trailer breaks when you put it in reverse so you can back up inclines without the breaks locking up. I didnt want to use the adaptor so I hard wired mine. Behind the license plate you will find the 4 wires, Green, Yellow, Brown and White. They should be capped off. My 5th trailer wire on my Champion is blue, its for the breaks as I mentioned. I just tapped into my reverse light wire that way it will disengage my trailer breaks when I put it in reverse. Here's a link that should help. Wire Diagram
  13. For those who dont know, I have a 2005 Silverado VHO with the high output altenator. I recently had a total knee replacement surgery so my truck just sat neglected for about 4 weeks. I went out today to start it and I have nothing, no interior lights, nothing when I turn the key, nothing at all. All terminals are tight and clean so I figure the battery is just dead and a jump start might be all it needs but seeing how it is the stock battery and its almost 5 years old, even if a jump start does take care of things I might as well replace it. By the way, I'm still healing from the knee surgery so I'm still not quite ready to drive yet but I should be good to go within a couple weeks In your opinion, which battery is the best for our trucks and why? Thanks in advance guys

  15. I know its not truck related but I thought I'd share it with the fishermem here. I did some major spring cleaning and found that I have way to much fishing tackle that I no longer use so I'll be having monthly giveaways. Check out my site, bassnman.com for details
