I do remember reading a write up on the 2005 VHO before I purchased mine and it said that it was identical to the SS but with 2 wheel drive and minus the body/interior accents. BTW, would it be a different cover with the Eaton LS differential vs the stock G80?

I'm thinking about buying a TA Performance Rear End Girdle and am curious about 2 things. First, does anyone know the paer number for my 2005 VHO? Is it the TA Performance Rear End Girdle 1973+ Chevy GM Truck 14-bolt 9.5" 10.5" Part#: TA1803 Second question. Is this mod worth doing other than just for looks? Thanks everyone!

I live in CA and the truth be told, I never put one on my 2002 truck, dont have one on the 2004 Monte SS and have never had one on my 2005 VHO. The funny part, I've never been pulled over for it. Knock on wood. I will sign the petition because I think its a stupid law

I personally rencently picked up the European Version Nokia E61 so I could stop carrying a Palm Pilot and cell phone. Its got all kinds of neat stuff on it including WiFi so I can access the internet for free as long as I can locate a wireless server, then I just hack into it and I'm surfin!

I installed mine yesterday after I got off work. Went by the auto hobby shop and did it on a lift. Thanks to tip about using a 2 inch ratcheting strap for compression the install was a breeze. BTW, I'm very happy with the results so far but I have yet to really test it out with some serious cornering. I'll do that this weekend and report back but I do believe, based on the cornering I've already done, I'll be very happy. THANKS FOR SHARING THIS MOD!!

Just put some lead fishing weights in a leather glove. Works great and really gets their attention.

My ride is a VHO, its basically the same. I have a dark tinted one and it blends in very nice with my black truck. LIKE WAS ALREADY SAID, RE-ADJUST YOUR HOOD BUMP STOPS. Here's mine

They can not tell but chances are the dealer will flash the PCM with an update and then you have a stock tuned PCM.

As far as ride quality they dont change a thing, just gives you better traction out of the hole, gets rid of axel wrap and wheel hop. Me personally, I LOVE my Toyo Proxy ST's. The stock Goodyears were crap, did nothing but spin even with the CalTracks

Yes as a matter of fact I did find some black Forged lug nuts. They are light as hell, the only thing I dont like about them is they dont have a "Cover" or maybe it would be called a "Cap". You screw them on you can see the top of the stud inside the nuts, does that make sense? Anyhow, I go tthem off of ebay, I cant remember the sellers name right off hand and they have ebay blocked here at work so I'll have to post his name later this evening. BTW, I wont be putting mine on until I get my new either black or black chrome rims.

I just talked to my local Mr. Goodwrench parts department and they looked and it did not show any cabin filter for my truck, 2005 VHO

I've got a dirt clod I'll sell ya that I promise will give you the same performance gains you'll get from a throttle body spacer, HA! As has already been said, save your money unless you want a cool and expensive paper weight.
