  1. From Consumer Reports web site Sometimes you have to pay for performance, especially when it comes to removing unwanted scratches and swirl marks from car paint, according to the latest tests of scratch removers in Consumer Reports September issue. Quixx High Performance Scratch Remover did an “Excellent” job at repairing very fine scratches. Quixx was the only product that was also “Very Good” at removing fine to medium scratches. However, it was the most expensive scratch remover CR tested. Quixx costs $21 for 1.8 ounces in two tubes—at almost $12 per oz., it was more than three times the cost of other brands tested. Mothers California Gold Scratch Remover ($ .75 per oz.) and NuFinish Scratch Doctor ($1.54 per oz.) proved solid options for those seeking a cheaper solution. Both brands were “Very Good” at removing swirl marks and fine scratches and did a “Good” job at repairing fine to medium scratches. But CR’s tests also found that these do-it-yourself scratch removers have their limits. All can remove very light scratches and imperfections, such as swirl marks, hazing, or oxidation. But only one, Quixx Scratch Remover, did a good job of smoothing out a scratch that’s deep enough to feel it if you run a fingernail across it. And, it’s important for consumers to know that scratch removers can cause hazing when used too aggressively—as the GS27 Scratch Remover and Meguiar’s ScratchX products did in CR’s extensive testing. Quixx also includes a strip of ultrafine, 3,000-grit sandpaper for deeper scratches. But if a consumer isn’t careful, he or she could sand through the clearcoat, which would necessitate repainting.

  9. Agreed, as far as the ease of install. I found the most time consuming part of the whole install process was figuring out a spot to mount the ballasts.
  10. I know the Fusion comes in Gloss black, I dont think it comes in flat so chances are.........

  13. I agree, report him to paypal. I also think you should post the site here so none of us will experience the same crap that you have gone through or maybe someone here will know "The Guy" at the other site and say something to him, possibly resolving your matter. Bottom line here is nothing gets under my skin more than a liar and a thief and that is what the guy is, IMHO. Good luck!
  14. Yep, Snipe Hunting, that brings back some memories. In the middle of no where with a Flashlight with almost dead batteries and yes, the brown paper bag!

Anyhow, back to our regularly secheduled program.... Chase, I once again replied to your PM. I'll package up my tail lights today and ship them off either today or tomorrow at the latest. 20. I'm a Sys Admin for a government contractor and I cant say for sure without physically seeing the unit but it sounds to me like you are correct about what your problem is. I've seen this problem with several Gateway laptops in the past so we switched over to Dells. It could also be a faulty connection or a slight short somewhere between the CPU and the screen. Like I said, cant say for sure without having it in my hands and physically cracking the system open. Hope that helps some.
  21. Below you will find a picture of the most spoiled pet in the whole world. BTW, her name is Marilyn

  23. Thanks! Did you happen to find out the weight yet?
  24. Thanks but do you happen to know how much just the rim weighs?
