When you train jiu jitsu, you are applying your training as hard as you can on your training partners every time.. train until you pretty much feel like you are going to throw up. Then mix it up with some muay thai, clinching, sprawling, and takedowns. There is no substitute if you are looking for the best real world fighting style and conditioning. Just ask this kid....

I just replace my 4300k's that I bought from Bgdsub on ebay with some 6000k bulbs I got off another ebay guy (same brand bulbs as the one that came in my kit from bgdsub) and the 6000k's are WAYYYYYY nicer... the 4300ks were bright.. but they were yellow and looked like Halogens on bright ! The 6000's are pure white, with a slight tint of blue.. they look more like HIDs than the 4300's. I took a pic of one headlight with the 4300 and the other with the 6000 .. and you will see what I am talkin about. I will post the pic later.

I would steer clear of that entire city IMO... the only thing that makes that place worth a damn is the Toy Shop.

I can vouch for Toy Shop also... Kendall and Mike are top notch guys and hooked me up when my trucks tranny was falling apart quicker than Don Imus' career. I have put over 10K miles on my new tranny from them (8k of those Radix miles) and its just as good as when I got it back from them!

The light doesnt appear to scattered.. at least, not any worse than the stock Halogens were (I had PIAA Plasma white bulbs prior). The light output is good.. I did have to aim the headlights down a tad just so it lit the road better. I am getting 6000k bulbs instead of the 4300's I just installed. The light output is bright, but the color is somewhat of a whitish yellow when seen from outside of the car... they look like bright ass halogens not HIDs. You can only tell they are HIDs when they start up, but when they are fully heated they seriously look like really bright Halogens. From inside the truck, its obvious they are HIDs.. but I think people look at these 4300's and think my Halogens are on bright. Hopefully the 6000's have somewhat of an HID blueish look... and still have good light output. Anyone have the 6000 kit and have exterior pictures of them on?

Man imagine if you made the Silverado SS your daily driver, and spent all the money you spend on the truck on the Camaro.. you would have a 9 second car.. and probably wouldnt have to worry about rebuilding your tranny every time you race it! Good choice on the daily driver! With all the $$ you have, I would have went with a luxury ride thats fast ... like a new BMW 335i

DAMN that lights up the road nice.. thats just what I want. Try to throw up a pic of how the lights look from the exterior... and a pic of where you mounted the ballasts would be helpful as well.

Yeah its his old truck. He kept it in ok condition, now its in even better condition When I bought it from him, I thought it was wayy to slow for my taste so I threw a Radix on it and never looked back. 20 trannies later, I am very happy now As far as the headlights go, do the 4300k's have any blue tint to them at all from the exterior? I wouldnt mind a little, but I dont want that fake rice look. I want way more light than my PIAA's, and something that looks cool at the same time. Pure white light is pretty nice.. but I like that whitish/blue look that the BMW's have.. but something tells me its the optics in their headlight lenses that gives off a blueish purple tint, and not the temperature of the light.

Hey I just ordered a set of the 9006 4300k's. I was wondering if anyone else who has installed these has any photos of them installed from the outside of the truck, and some more of them while driving. I was having a hard time deciding on the 4300k's or the 6000k's... but decided on the 4300's because I want them to look OEM and not like a 'fake' HID headlight. I will try to post pics of mine when I receive them too.

Damn Chase.. that thing is going to be straight BAD ASS. Period. Are you planning on keeping this thing as a daily driver? I would think that by keeping the AWD and the 65E would make this a track only beast (bring-your-own-tow-truck) setup.. I just cant see the 65E spinning at 6800+ RPMs.. hitting the 1-2 shift... and the input or output shaft holding down 700+ HP without a major shatter of the internal parts... I know I keep raining on the parade with this tranny crap.. but damn, get ready to open that wallet up to make this thing a daily driver. Cant wait to see it in action bro !

I currently have a Magnacharger Radix (silver) with heat exchanger set up on my SS. I am going to be either selling the truck, or just dropping a new motor in it. I havent made my mind. Either way, the Radix is going to be sold. I am thinking of doing this really soon, all depending on how much I can get for it right now. I have about 10K miles on it, and it works perfect. The only think that wont come with it, is the Superchips programmer. Everything else is in perfect condition, and was installed professionally, and will be removed professionally. Any offers? If I can get around $3500 for everything, I will have it taken off ASAP and sell it to the first guy with a downpayment. Thanks

that tattoo doesnt look too bad. sure, its not straight, the lines are way off, and it curves like a bent weenie. Most people wont notice though... just dont point it out and you will be fine. I would notice, but then again, its because I am into tattoos... i personally have a full sleeve and a half sleeve, and more, and I would only notice that if you showed it to me and let me stare at it.. most people wont look at it good enough to notice the flaws.

I am going with an twin turbo 408 setup.. but I am waiting until later this year when I get my new car and can stop using the SS as a daily driver. I have been wayyy too busy lately since I started my business, and things have been moving along great. First step will be to gut everything and sell it all..... then use that money to buy all of my new stuff. My goal is going to be low 10's and possibly in the 9's. Then again there is the thought of selling the SS and buying a 2001-2003 silverado and just doing the project with that. But the idea of having the fastest silverado SS will most likely just make me use it.. We will see. But I know this is going to be my '07 x-mas present as far as smogging it... i always have found ways around that .. lol...

Yeah that guy Parish is putting out those kind of numbers, and theres no way he could run a 65E. With that new motor, I have a feeling we would be seeing pics like this of the 65E shortly after!! I am still planning on going twin turbo on a 408 block and doing the 80E conversion later this year. I dont think I will be keeping the AWD though. I am shooting for 10's also, but 9's may be possible.
