That car will be a lot of fun.. if I had the choice between the two I would go with an Evo MR edition... that motor is insane.. I used to have a 97 Eclipse GST (pretty much same motor) and slapped a huge turbo/intercooler and bigger injectors and it ran an 11.7 (front wheel drive w/ slicks)

Why would anyone question this guys story.. he has a high stall, long tubes, its tuned, and even if it was running a low-low 14 he could still beat a stock TBSS by 1 car for sure. TBSS's arent really that fast unless you do the IAT sensor relocate, tune them, and put a new stall in there. Like Zippy said, its a 14 second truck when its warm. Not to mention this guys motor has some crazy lifters in it because it can rev to 28,000 RPMs.

Why consider a TBSS if you already have an Escalade?

Just roll around in the Escalade and be happy you wont be paying on another truck as soon as the insurance pays it off!! Or what you will be doing with the money... get a New body style crew cab.. I am telling you it happened for the best You should have gotten additional equipment coverage if you spent that money on your truck.. I have it on the SS for about $7K extra (rims, bumper, navigation, etc) and it was only $13 more a month

Correction: 04 SS... maybe the parts are different since it was an 04 radix kit? It should be the same though i would think. If the tensioner is too tight you may break it.. you might want to look into getting a 112 or 112.5" belt if the one you have is that tight

Bigdog- I agree with you 100%. Thats why I put money on him... he is one of the best BJJ black belts in the UFC, hes huge and can strike like a motherf*cker. I really do think it screwed with him when his nose was broken and couldnt breathe.. it took away the motivation to fight and mentally it makes you feel like you already lost when you see yourself bleeding like that. I think on another day Gonzage could take Couture, but you never know. Gonzaga will be back, and he will move up the chain very quickly again.
