  1. ok now i just need to make them permannet and get 2 more sets. that was just one set mocked up on both sides to see if i liked it or not.. and whats nice is hte 0 is seperate so the 7 off a GTO also would make it to be 6.7 when the 408 goes in

    taller would lower my trap rpms even more and possibly lose more MPH i would rather be up around 6k or so when crossing the traps. i was in the street class <{POST_SNAPBACK}> you need to dyno your truck and find out where you make max power and have it shift 200-300 rpm's after that. taller would help reduce will spin and would help with mph. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> yes but 5400 rpms isnt much to my setup. i shift at 6600 rpms. my cam is suppose to pull steady up till 6400rpms thus why im 200 rpms past peak. and at 5400 rpms im no where near where i need to bed

    tried 15.5, tried 13.5 and last was 10psi. i hit them hard and hook but unload them after it hits so it just makes back end light

    well finally went ot track tonight. times arent bad considering the basemap and im still pig rich i got a best of 12.8 @ 104 with a best 60" of 1.79 this is with stock suspension and just ET streets i at first woudl dead hook then just blow the tires off thru first and then into second while going sideways on the 1-2 shift each time track prep sucked!! this was done ALL motor and full weight minus the tailgate. i was on stock 16"/15" steel wheels along with a heavy speaker/amp box along with bunch of console crap and etc. i think i should go to a 26" tire sicne i was only at 5400rpms going thru traps it seemed. so with more tunning and how to figure out my hooking situation ill be at my NA goal soon.

  12. So did you guys kill a few LS1 motors in testing? It was hinted to in the thread on the other forums I mentioned before (link is below)...but I was unsure if that was the case. Plus, the pics looked like an LS...well, based on the intake manifold (???).     thanks and for the wheel comment thats like me saying let me put my 16s back on. i deff feel theres a little more in this setup. and my base tune from ed wright was deff a good one. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ed Wright does very good work, that's for sure. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> yea thats where i got my base map. if you dont mind after some more logging and tweaking and once i get my wideband ill do more logging and if you dont mind could you look over the logs and files and see what you think or we could tweak <{POST_SNAPBACK}> yeah cause my skills aren't good enough for him. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> nah you got skills man and youre going to continue to help me out
