  1. track day cancelled http://www.californiaspeedway.com/dragway/
  2. Thanks for all the info guys... Bill04ss I don't think they make a 4 gauge pod, you'll have to get creative and put the gauges in the overhead console or somewhere else...
  3. Looks good the accents compliment the colors very well
  4. Pine... I love the live tree smell..
  5. i'd liked to have seen there faces ...nice kill
  6. I think that one of the 2wd drives swapped for 4.10s and if I recall correctly he liked them a lot, but I'm not sure who it was hopefully he'll chime in... but I think with the power adders you have and watching your video you'll just burn them more, especially if you plan to add more. I'd stick with the 3.73s
  7. most definetly but nice run none theless
  8. So I've done some research and it seems like boost, AFR, and fuel pressure are the gauges to get?? I was thinking those three plus an aeroforce too, dose that sound like I would have all my bases covered? Also this may be stupid but do I need a boost gauge to have vacuum too? I'm not exactly sure what vacuum messures?
  9. thanks for the input guys... kelleyperformence, your stock converter held fine with the extra power? Any chnace on balooning and taking out my tranny ?
  10. I have 42# Delphi that I haven't install yet, but I wanted to see if that would provide enough fuel?? Or would I need to do the changeover so I could use something like SVOs?? I will be looking for 7-8 lbs of boost
  11. For now i have decided against a TC being 2wd the less traction problems the better ( hope the stock tc will hold up). I understand that a big factor in more tranny heat is due to a high stall converter. So If I just put on a vortech at 7-8 lbs, a shift kit, and servos will something like the tru cool 40,000 GVW be to much cooling for my tranny without the extra heat of a TC. ( I understand that it is band to overcool a tranny?)
  12. That was something that I have been wondering about ...higher stall + boost = no traction... But will the stock converter hold up to say 7-8lbs?? Can't they baloon and take out my whole tranny with them?
  13. So after letting a vortech blower sit in my garage for 3 months I am finally getting on prepping for install... I am looking for a good TC and I have heard a lot of good things about precision industries so I am planning on going with one of those... I don't tow often but would still like the abilty to tow and haul and I beleive that has a bearing on the stall? And I'm not sure what a good stall range would be for a SS with a centrifugal S/C on it? Also options such as 9.5" 10.5" ?? And multi disc or single disc?? And I think i want lock up right?? If anyone could offer some guidance on ordering one... it would be much appreciated... Also my plans for the truck (as of now) is the s/c, with maybe 7-8lbs, headers and perhaps a cam
