Is this something that can be done by the average Joe (how difficult for the backyard mechanic)? Or does it have to be taken to a shop to be done? If so how much are we looking at paying? Sorry for all the questions! Thanks in advance!

The lowering perches, how exactly do they work? I guess I've never seen those used for lowering before. How much of a drop do you get from them? How much are looking to get for them? Sorry for all the questions.

I messed with that CEL for a couple of days aswell. I would hook it up to a Tech2 and it would show a miss fire on my #7 cylinder. Changed the coil, plugs, and swapped wires around to see if the miss fire would move, but no change. Took out the injector and cleaned it out, and runs like a champ now!! I was getting a headache with this damn code!! But I'm glad I found the problem. All I'm saying is check the injectors aswell.

I was wondering how good it sounded. Would it rattle the crap out of the console? I know JL's stuff is good quality stuff. I have 2 10's under my rear seat, but I think the enclosure is just not making sound as good as they can. Let me know. thanks!

I can't recall where I read it, but I read that if you don't use your truck to tow that you could put a so called race tune using your tow haul button. Is this true?? It's not like I have alot of mods but maybe a more aggressive tune? I will be sending my PCM soon for a tune and was just wondering. Thanks!

All is very true! I got busted a little over 5yrs ago for DUI, and let me tell you it is very embarassing! And not only that all the $$ that goes down the drain for that extra drink!! When I was locked up I didn't sleep one wink, thinking of all the other things that could of possibly happened. I sincerely regret the night! Now I'm married and have my wife drive anytime I get poo pooed!! Very well said!!
